Chadwick Boseman (1976-2020) - Rest In Peace
Draw your squad in this.
This honestly is so powerful and painful. The way he talks about the kids’ excitement and determination to survive long enough to see Black Panther is bittersweet. He gave generations of Black audiences a movie where a Black man is a king, a warrior, a loyal friend, and a grieving son all rolled into one. That’s fucking iconic. Knowing now that he carried the hopes and expectations of his community while battling literal death and that he reached out to kids struggling with cancer as well just brings home the fact that Chadwick was an actual hero and a beacon that got extinguished too early.
But but.. Rich singing Frère Jacques to the baby is the cutest sweetest thing! I just watch that part like 6 times through the movie and stop before it gets Bad.

Summary:
This guy, he had never met. He definitely wouldn’t have forgotten it if he had. Shaggy dishwater blond hair run through with natural golden highlights, a thick brown beard, and a body like a Mack truck made out of ribeye.
“Fuck me,” Bucky gasped.
“Excuse me?”
Or the one where archeology intern Bucky Barnes meets actual archeologist Steve Rogers and reaches levels of thirst scientists once believed to be theoretically impossible.
“What have I told you about coming in my office when I’m working?”
“But I was lonely.”
