So I kinda want to express my opinion about people headcanoning Love and Deepspace men as part of the lgbtq community, because I'm tired of being unable to express it anywhere publicly without being shamed for saying that they are straight?

And it does include any character from any other game that is said to be heterosexual.

Would you say that a lesbian would date a man because her lover gets reincarnated as a man?

Or would that sound homophobic?

Why is it okay to push your headcanons into canons?

I saw two sides of this war, especially on TikTok, and honestly each side is MAD AS HELL, and some people go way overboard with arguing, instead of just expressing their opinions.

It's okay to want to be represented, and I promise you many games include people of different sexualities and races, I myself am pansexual and proud to admit that.

But why can't we give hetero women one thing for themselves?

Also the stuff with male mc.

Did you create your mc to look male? Cool! Love that for you babes, but still keep in mind that this game centers on women, and otome game is made with a female protagonist in mind, you're free to change and personalize her to your liking, but saying that there should be an option for a male mc is just... Not right in my opinion, same with Nikki from Infinity Nikki game from InFold.

Headcanon what you want, write, paint, express your opinion for as long as it's not hateful and morally wrong, but please PLEASE, respect the canon of the game.

Also people saying that a male mc wouldn't change anything and it's not that deep.

Love and Deepspace is a game made specifically for women, it's their safe space, a space when men treat them right after so many of them survived abusive relationships - lads men raise standards and make them feel seen, and not as a burden.

The period calendar addition legit made me cry because I had a fictional man comfort me through my cramps, instead of not giving a single fuck like my ex boyfriends.

Do not push lgbtq everywhere, not everyone has to be homo, bi, pan, omni etc etc, I do not shame people who headcanon them this way, but PLEASE for the love of God have the strength to admit that it's not canon and that they are said to be heterosexual by the people who created the game and created them.

Thank you for reading that rant, I just had to get it off my chest, because it's a topic that constantly goes after me, even when I do my best to ignore it.

Please remember, that lads would not be able to choose their sexuality, and if they would be born hetero (created and coded in this scenario) they would not feel physically attracted to a male mc, even if he was the reincarnation of their soulmate, they would probably keep him close and care for him, but not as a lover.

I wish the rating for LADS was higher mainly because I want to hear the guys curse. As far as I know I never heard any one of them say a curse word lmao (correct me if I’m wrong)

Caleb seems like he’d say damn/shit a lot, especially when he’s frustrated or teasing you, (I.e. “You look damn cute in that dress, pipsqueak”)

Sylus doesn’t seem like the type to curse ALOT but when he does it’s “fuck” (mainly when fuckING) or “shit” while fighting

Rafayel Girlies, how are we feeling ? Because I'm not okay.

I don't know about you guys but these days I literally have no money to spend on the game so I'm forced to be F2P for a while. Knowing this, you can probably guess why I'm actually PISSED.

Yes, I'm happy we get a GOT rerun but the timing ? That was so obviously intentional on Infold's part. It's such an obvious cash grab.

I mean, we literally JUST got a double banner for Rafayel and only got a week of rest to grind diamonds. They KNOW F2P Rafayel girlies are broke asf right now. I have 5k diamonds and a dream bro.

They did that to push people to spend money on the game and it pisses me off so much. A quint I could understand, I would have been desperate all the same but it would have made sense, now this ? So obviously a cash grab, it makes me so mad. I mean, we didn't even get a 2 weeks banner in between the birthday banners and GOT rerun ! How do they expect us to have anything saved up ? Of course we don't ! Had they added a new Abyssal Chaos case or something so we can grind more easily or some other way to get dias then it would have been okay I guess but no, they didn't.

I feel like that's such a basic headcanon but I CAN'T FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING THAT'S GOOD FIND IT FOR THE LADS GUYS.

What do you guys think their music taste would be like ?

We know canonically that Sylus likes the organ and Xavier plays the piano for example but what about the others ? And also, does Xavier playing the piano means he likes classical music or was he just required to learn how to play since he's a prince ? Also Sea God Rafayel seems to play the flute, can canonically sing and his aunt is an opera singer but does that mean anything ? Does that influence his music taste at all ? I think I saw somewhere that Caleb plays the guitar but again, does that influence his music taste at all ? So many questions.

I personaly have a very diverse music taste (polyjamorous for those who know) although I do have a preference for Metal and Kpop so I was wondering what the guys' take on those would be.

Protocore Guide

Finally back with another guide! This game is so annoying at times and writing out guides is not my strong suit. I am trying my best. ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟ｡

The Basics

- Just match the companion’s talent! Listed below.

- Avoid flat stats unless they are boosted with a scaling % bonus

- For bonus % aim for 10%+. Typically you would want to be as close to 14% as possible.

- Any memories under level 50 benefit from flat stats though (pointless tbh)

- Trash any cores with ATK/DEF/HP bonuses as the main stat UNLESS YOU ARE USING CALEB then keep 1 Red Def bonus square for this solar. Keep any triangle protocores that have Damage 2 Weakness, Crit Damage, or Crit Rate.

- The highlighted area is your main stats! Everything below are sub stats.

- Make sure the bottom sub stat matches the companion because that’s the one that will be boosted the most in the long run

Example for an ATK scale companion

- Boost protocores to levels 3-6-9 to see what all 5 stats are before trashing it so you get some recourses back. Trash it before hitting level 12 since it’s too expensive and not worth it

- You gain a double bonus at levels 3-6-9-12-15 so rank protocores up by 3

- Any solar pair that has R1+ needs either 2x Expidited Energy or E.E and 1 Oath Strength. I will always vote for more E.E!

- Any pair with R0 should have 1 oath strength or E.E and 1 oath recovery boost!! Boost your oath recovery to +9 to ensure you will be able to use your oath twice during a battle (ignore mine being at +8).

- Only keep protocores that have the main stats shown above for the squares!

Examples of protocores from perfect, to decent, to horrible if using an Attack Companion! Def is not needed for this companion but it wont hurt. The last protocore has too many mixed flat stats that don’t align with the companion’s talents and/or are flat!

Substas you want for Companions

Attack Based: Lightseeker, Abysswalker, Boxing Sylus, Master of Fate, or any non myth companion ex: Dawnbreaker, pilot Caleb, artist Rafayel, deepspace Hunter Xavier, etc.

Attack Flat + Attack Bonus with any of these to follow: Crit Rate, Crit DMG, D2W, Oath Strength

Defense Based: Lumiere, Foreseer, and Farspace Colonel* = priority

*Defense Flat + *Defense Bonus with any of these to follow: Crit Rate, Crit DMG, *D2W, Oath Strength

HP Based: Sea God and Dragon Sylus

HP Flat + HP Bonus with any of these to follow: Crit Rate, Crit DMG, D2W, Oath Strength

I hope this helps! Some of my stats are iffy because my luck is awful with Protocores. Sometimes you will have to take what you can get and hope you can improve later on!!

What Rafayel hid in Chapter 2 and what does it mean? Analysis & Theory

Someone pointed out in Reddit that Rafayel hid something from MC during chapter 2 when he was trying to look for his "collection log".

Spoilers for the Chapter 2, brief mention to chapter 8, Addictive Pain anecdote and some later mentions about Ebb and Flow and other memories.

The original post in Reddit, thank you OP for pointing this out!

During chapter 2, MC investigates Rafayel's involvement in Raymond's behavior and deducts that his paints might have part in his erradic mental state. When Rafayel offers to show his collection log, he seems to notice something, hide it with his body bit more, glance at MC and show the log in his hands.

Why did he do that?

His body language screams "OH SHI-" when he notices the lime green note. It's just a note, and it's not like MC would be able to read it from where she is standing. I think it is a small hint towards how Rafayel has planned the entire meeting with MC beforehand - which in my mind, this chapter does allude to many times.

I already wrote a theory on their "first meeting" about how Rafayel didn't intend taking Reddie home. I didn't mention explicitly that I believe that he has planned all their meetings in the main story quite meticulously, aside a few details that don't go his way - for example with Reddie.

I think this note was supposed to make "the collection log" easily findable for Rafayel, so he can play along in his plan. He just didn't account for MC being so close, and possibly seeing the note herself, so he panicked to cover it up. Then he realised MC probably won't even notice the note, but tries to tuck it subtly out of view.

Did he really plan all this?

I really want to point out all the ways how Rafayel is manouvering MC along his plans during the main story so far, but I'll focus on this particular chapter for now. He is really good at manipulation - but in this chapter and many other moments, his facial expressions do reveal a lot. Unfrotunately Tumblr lets me post only one video per post, but if you go look the main story, you will be able to notice these things from these few chapters.

At first, he looks bit stern, like he is ready to tell someone off from barging in the studio without a call. After once he realises it's MC, he smiles quite widely considering someone came to his home uninvited. Not to mention that I don't believe a second him knocking the ladder was an accident...

Rafayel looks surprisingly happy about the fact that Thomas let MC have the coral stones from his office. I don't know if Thomas is in with his plans or not, but for now for the sake of not going into another rabbit hole, I'll just say it's possible, but probably not.

If you have read Addictive Pain anecdote, you know that Rafayel used his blood to experiment on paint pigments to get some kind of desired effect from them. The coral stones seem to be reacting to his blood, and he's smirking here because he's demonstrating to MC that he has valuable connections in this case. He already knew the effect his blood would have with the coral stone.

After the battle, before he makes the offer to MC to be his bodyguard, he smirks after MC agrees to listen what he has to say.

Something I want to point out too - notice the "collection log" he had? It's actually an invite to the nest. He doesn't have an actual collection log. Technically he is not lying when he said "I'll happily give you what I have in my hand right now" - he did give an invite to the nest for MC in chapter 8. He just showed it way before hand the actual Hunting Day took place.

One last detail about how he managed to play MC like a fiddle during this chapter - he smirks in the end once he says "the door's over there". He's very pleased with himself. He managed to lead MC to believe that the only way to continue this investigation is to play along with his demands and become his bodyguard.

What a smug b....

... He is a siren, after all.

A lot of his memories and other moments highlight how masterfully he manages to make MC believe she is in control, but eventually he flips it completely around. During Ebb and Flow, after MC inspects his scales, it seems like she is in top of things with her little "You have to call me master" play - but then Rafayel turns it completely around, making her fall into his trap and takes control of the situation. In Gem affection, he lets MC to play around with him until he flips her over. This same theme repeats in several memories like Tipsy Invitation, Omnipotent Perception and Extreme Dose as well.

This exact story moment is probably the first moment we see this in action in a more convoluded way - he peaks her curiousity, controls the conversation and makes MC feel like she doesn't have any other option than play along with his game. It's also visible in the main story later, if I manage to make posts of the other chapters as well.

What if the note was something else?

Another thing that I'm thinking about is that it could be hint that the book the note is sticked to is some kind of marker for his notes about her from the times when he stalked her. I don't really have much to go on with that, but it's a possibility. All we can really deduct from how he reacted is that he probably didn't want MC to see whatever he was hiding.

On a more humorous note, it also could be the sketchbook every artist has and wants no one to see... Not that I have a such sketchbook or would know anything about that *cough cough*

Stellactrum Research

Which stellactrum is most often used by the LADS men? That is a question I've been asking more or less since I started the game. And of course, there are some answers on reddit, but apparently I wanted to find the answer myself. So, without further ado, this is how I found the answer to that very question, and what my results were:

First you will want to go to "With Him", located on the main screen above "Story", followed by "Collections" and then "Memories". This shows you how many cards a certain character has out (for example, Rafayel currently has the most cards out being 76 in total), your progress towards obtaining all of them, and what all of those cards are.

So, by going through each character's "Memories", I counted every card based on their Stellactrum and created a small table on docs, which I will post a screenshot of at the end of this blog. But for the moment you have all been waiting for, which stellactrum is most used by which man?

Xavier: He has 74 cards out, and his top two Stellactrums are Emerald and Amber.

Zayne: Also with 74 cards out, his top two are Sapphire and Ruby.

Rafayel: With the most cards of 76 out, he mains Violet and Pearl.

Sylus: Guessing his a little tougher as he only has 36 cards out currently, but so far I would assume his two Stellactrums are Emerald and Pearl.

Caleb: He has 21 cards out. Based on that VERY LIMITED KNOWLEDGE, his top two are Violet and Ruby.

*Please note, as more cards are released and the final love interest is added, this may be subject to change.

I managed to grind 1500 diamonds in the afternoon, I made 10 more wishes and low and behold my fishie came home. I'm so happy 🥹💜

Anyone else having BIG PROBLEMS with the game right now ? Because mine is tweaking.

For starters the opening screen is white for some reason ?

Also the banners' screens are black.

And last but not least, my wishes are having a seizure or something. I used 10 wishes on the Boundless Seas' banner only for my screen to go black and I couldn't click or do anything. I had the sound but the screen just... I don't know.

So I had to exit the game, I go back and see the 10 wishes are in fact missing, the only reason I know it worked is because I have more heartsand than before.

I tried re-dowloading the game's ressources but to no avail, I had to wait an hour and it didn't do shit.

It's completely ruining the wishing experience for me, anyone have advice on how to fix it ?

Update : After turning off my phone and turning it back on it worked ! Thank you @irandial for the tip, I was too dumb to think of it myself 😭

Anyways, here's the result of my first 30 pulls

I wanted it so not too disappointed but it took me so many pulls to get Boundless Seas... Forgot to screenshot it too but I have it !

I didn't get the card from the re-run tho since I didn't get lucky on the first banner and didn't have much diamonds left... So I'm back to grinding as many diamonds as I can in the next week to try and get it before it's too late, wish me luck 🥹
