Eye of the Typhoon - Chapter 3 is up!
Read on AO3
Guess I’m on a two week schedule with these. As always, thanks for reading!
Summary: Kagome experiences her first typhoon
“that just eats away at my feelings man”
you said it
I’ve always thought of how tragic Kaede’s childhood was, she lost her sister and Inuyasha all at the same time and had to grow up quickly to become the next village miko. Thinking about how she was probably lonely with her sister gone. And man I also think about how Inuyasha would always sit by her when she’s weeding or just sits in with her in her hut like that eats away at my feelings man. Please do NOT repost on any other social media without my say so.
Have you ever wished you had a convenient list of all the important moments between Inuyasha and Kagome in the manga, anime and spinoffs? Well rejoice because I added one to my blog!
You can head over to inukag.tumblr.com/timeline to see it. There’s a description for each moment and you can hover the gifs to see them in color. Looks like the tabs aren’t working on mobile (at least not on iOS) so you’ll only be able to see the manga timeline, but it works fine on desktop!
Enjoy! Let me know if you find any typo or think there’s a moment that should be added c:
This is amazing!
it’s her first night back yet he can’t believe it

Chapter Summary: Inuyasha finally gets one of his questions answered. Why did Kagome really leave the barrier?
After a brief hiatus due to Covid I am back at it! Every chapter I put out is a humble reminder of the amount of work and thought it takes to put a story to words. It makes me even more grateful for the writers I admire!
Jealous Dog-Boy's greatest hits.
✨✨manga edits by me✨✨
Chapter 7 is up! Summary: Kaede shows Kagome where to go where she WON'T get attacked by demons. Inuyasha does some errands for Totosai and finds something rather interesting.
I’d like to thank my writers block and upcoming professional examinations for making this a particularly difficult chapter to get out. Next chapter is gonna be a turning point :)

It’s always these two
Inuyasha crying at Kikyou's final death is very moving but I think it's important to remember that by his own admission, he would not have been able to cry for her, before. It's only thanks to Kagome that he feels comfortable enough with himself to cry at all and show vulnerability to others. That's what really makes that moment beautiful to me. (Though in a bittersweet way, obviously.)
I also want to focus on the "What true strength and kindness is" line because to me this implies Kagome is the paragon of strength and kindness that Inuyasha wanted to model himself after. Obviously we all know that potential was already in him and Kagome coaxed it out and praised it from him, but I think it's really beautiful to hear Inuyasha thought of Kagome as his role model, in a way. After all, being brave in order to help people WAS one of the first compliments Inuyasha ever admitted to himself about her.
Reading this but hearing the author’s commentary in my head like a sportscaster narrating a play-by-play
Everyone is screwed and gonna die. Nothing anyone can do. Naraku is talking smack. AND THEN:
