Anyone Else Get Casually Jump Scared By A Post They Queued?

I am hungry. I’m also awake. Since apparently I can only sleep for around 5 hours and then I must be awake for around 5 hours before I am able to return to sleep. Why does this happen to me? Oh well what do I ramble about today? Let’s see. I got a sweet new satchel today at a thrift store. It’s not my preferred color but hey it holds all my shit and it fits my art supplies so it’s sick. Got a new outfit that makes me feel like a vampire as well, so that’s nice. No idea what I will wear it for but I like it so maybe I’ll throw it on at random. Sadly have yet to get my friends invested in the shows I like but apparently some of their friends have similar show interests so one of these days one of my recommendations will get through to someone and not just because a genshin voice actor is in it. Please I need to rant about my shows to someone who either would be just as invested or invested enough in my conversation skills to be down to hear my rambles. So now, about those shows

Stealer: The Treasure Keeper is hilarious, I love him, and also found family. A thief who steals cultural relics that were illegally obtained or being kept for shady reasons etc returns theme to where they belong. This thief meets a group of cops wanting to work together to take down those who obtain these relics.

Circle: Two Worlds Connected - Jump between times where a cop investigating murders and twins who witnessed an alien appearance question reality.

The Guest (2018) - a priest, a cop, and a taxi driver are being haunted by their pasts. Possession, murders, their lives become entangled as they chase down a deadly ghost.

Weak Hero - found family. My heart man.

Also I’m so fucking hungry right now man but I’m also trying to fall back to sleep. Hasn’t happened yet but who knows.

Psychopath diary - Honestly, I’m not that far into this. It seems really interesting but also oh my goodness noooooo. Office worker witnesses a murder has amnesia (due to a cop car. Eyes on the road loves, though to be fair he did jump out it still bugs me). Ahem anyway, he ends up with a diary listing all the murders. However he has amnesia and doesn’t remember who he is and since the diary is the only belonging he was given, yeahhhhhh. I want to continue it but oh no man I just ahhhhh

Unnatural fires - I love how the credits have fire safety information. Super interesting show with found family vibes plus fire safety. Same as how Are You Safe has internet safety tips at the end of it. I recommend both. Haven’t finished either but they are really interesting.

Anyway I feel like shit rn so imma figure out what to do to feel better. Current options are try to sleep again, eat something, write something, watch something, or do something else. Eh I’ll figure it out in a bit.

My thoughts on the Me and Who Series Trailer.

Isekai? -slams open door- say no more! I am here. And I am intrigued.

Honestly I think it looks so fun. Fun, silly goofy, and just like a good time. I liked the actors in Monster Next Door ( no I haven’t finished that show yet, shhh, quiet) so I think they’ll be just as good in the new one. But I don’t really follow actors so I’m just there for the story and man does it look fun. Got some isekai, bit of mind reading (makes me wonder if anyone else has powers), magic (I’m assuming the stones are magic, not like an in depth thought of anything. I’m literally just spouted out whatever I feel), ah I can’t wait. Welp that’s all I want to say. Have a marvelous day/night!

Got Jirayu as Race in BAD GUYS (2022)

Okay I got more things to ramble about now. Spoilers for ep 2 of 4 minutes the series.

When Tle and Great are fighting after the hospital scene, that camera angle felt so I guess intentional? Ah I can’t find the right word but it felt like they were being spied on, like a security camera or something. And the way it just kinda flew at them. What was that? I don’t know really anything about camera movements and stuffs but they’re soooo intriguing. Ahhh. What could it mean? I also love how every scene of the series feels off, like how the edges are blurred and the placing of the characters gives the scene an eerie (?) vibe (thank you tumblr users who talk about this stuff that explains it so well). Well that’s all I wanted to mention at this point in time. Can’t wait for the next episode. Anywho, have a wonderful day and have fun!

You know how some fictional characters can detect lies? Do they like, detect the degree of the lie? Cause I know there are a lot of small white lies that merely bend the truth. Would they take the entire thing as a lie or would they have like a percentage on the amount of truth in that statement. For example if one said they were late due to work stuff but in actual it was the mental preparation having to socially interact. I don’t think this is a good example but it’s late and my brain doesn’t have the energy to think of more. But what I mean is just like small mostly truths. Would they have a percentage of the degree in which the person altered the truth or would the character just take the entire statement as false? Well I’ve let the random thoughts out and now… maybe I’ll sleep. Or not. Who knows. Have a wonderful day/night.

My rambles about My Golden Blood episode 1.

Im sorry but you can’t get me to believe that he never so much as scraped his knee as a kid or got a paper cut. Dude. Ain’t no way.

I don’t think the way they went about trying to keep him safe would work. Especially not on a kid.

Oh ok then. I guess if there are healing abilities then that could help but you still can’t tell me he never got a paper cut. Paper can be so evil.

I fucking love it man. So so much. If it seems like I’m criticizing, I’m not. I just highly enjoy teasing people and I just think it’s fun to think about stuff. Especially world building, but like very brief world building I do not go that deeply just whatever brings me joy in the moment.

Aaaaaaaahhh I can’t wait into the next episode. Love vampires.

But also, what show did I watch where one of the main characters had the same medical condition that Tong was told he had? Ah that’s it. I remember now. Legends of Tomorrow. That’s how I know it.

A list of shows where I question my decision for watching them. They’re not bad just got some concerning plot lines. If you enjoy them good for you, if not that’s cool too. I’ll just write what they’re about and you can decide for yourself.

Paint with love. The concept seemed interesting. A company president obsessed with profit needs to hire an artist for a job. Due to unforeseen circumstances they’re now stuck together in business. And then… the plot worsens. Interesting start but then the subplots and misunderstandings kinda drag the story down. There are some side couples in the show as well. There’s this one subplot that just… once it’s revealed you’ll be like oh… ohhhhhhh.. oh no… why?! Just why?! And then once one of the characters knows about it they still misunderstand?! Why!?! What’s the point? At the most dramatic part of this plot it does get resolved within an episode and a half. And then it comes back? After being resolved? Leading to my confusion and concern. And then one of the characters just acts super rude to this other character for no apparent reason. Leading to more unnecessary drama. The main romance also starts to feel off balance after a while. As one of the characters always apologizes but the other character never does. Which feels bad, like the other character gets a free pass for his actions. I don’t know how to feel about this show. The subplots are just getting ridiculous as well as the drama. We finally reach a good understanding and boom unnecessary conflict… I am still going to try to finish it and hold onto hope that it gets better.

My stand-in. Super toxic romance. Toxic workplace, mistreatment, etc. A lovely main character gets dealt a bad hand in life and love the first go around only to find himself in another body... with perhaps an even worse hand in life. The main character is nice and kind and has a handful of wonderful people surrounding him. But the more powerful ones are far more impactful, dangerous, and toxic. Poor guy. If you want the main character to be happy, good luck. It's gonna take him a while.

Love syndrome. I have no idea what this one's about. Stumbled upon an episode and was highly confused/concerned. From what I saw, super toxic and concerning behavior. However there does seem to be multiple seasons or parts of this show and I only saw one of them out of order. So who knows. Update: there’s a lot of different versions of this show. What I saw was called love syndrome the beginning, so my view of the show is from that specific episode. The other versions could be very different, I have no idea. I looked through it and realized I recognized some of the actors so imma try to see what it’s about. Uhh never mind. Reading up on it I don’t think this show is for me. Update: I’ve started watching love syndrome 3. It’s been months since I wrote this and now I feel like trying it out. It is insanely toxic but it’s what I feel like watching right now so I am. Until I can handle the next episode of peaceful property at least. Have a wonderful day! (My thoughts while watching this show “Oh they’re adorable!… oh they’re toxic as hell! Oh look they’re adorable again!”) Not me just now realizing that not only do Unforgotten Night and Love Syndrome take place in the same universe, the main characters actively interact. Sometimes I just don’t notice things until a while later into a series.

Dance with the devils. A vampire anime... yes one of those vampire animes. However, it's a musical. So it's really enjoyable to watch in the sense of laughing at its goofiness and staring in horror at its... other scenes. Also the bestie should have totally gotten with the mc.
