oh my god there’s a new game coming out??? i just looked for the trailer right after i received this and. oh my gosh i’ve barely gotten through half of the teaser but im mainly just really happy the dev group stuck to that tangle tower artstyle for the characters, i mean i don’t know why they’d ever change it apart from a few design details but i love getting to see that dorky detective, absolutely love how he sounds too.

3 weeks of work have finally paid off
leshy is my weird tree forest deity grandpa and you can’t convince me otherwise. i hated him so much at the start mainly because of how i kept dying as well as knowing the fact that he trapped the other scrybes in cards but that one line during the finale, “I sense the end approaching. Please… a few more rounds.” just hit me so hard when i played it and now i’ll kinda admit i care about him a bit.
random headcanon of mine is that when you die in kaycee’s mod since he isn’t shown trapping you in a deathcard, i like to think he just has this random power of being able to put you to sleep my covering your eyes and then you wake back up when you start a new run. also kinda like the idea of him just putting everything back in its place and tidying stuff up while you’re eeping off in the corner of the cabin.

new character alert! the lad on the left with the top hat is named lena; he’s parish’s brother as well as the main protagonist of the story. his power is basically just being able to create colored fire. haven’t figured out parish’s power yet.
also tiny bit of lore under the cut 🤯
parish is known as the overseer of this large colosseum, which has had this annual tradition of allowing stickfigures to join and fight in the arena, and usually the prize for the winner is a far stack of cash. but this year parish has something different planned; not only does the winner also get an elusive rare, nearly extinct creature that’s know as the glass snake, but this time each of the fights in the colosseum will be to the death. lena hears about this and obviously isn’t happy with the fact that parish would allow figures and forms to do this merely so he can get some entertainment, and lena brings his friends together to team up and try to put an end to this tradition.
that’s all that’s been set in stone so far, but i hope you like the start of this story :)

definitely going to encourage me to draw more of my universe, but again for the third and final time for this post thank you so much, i also just really love how you drew parish’s eye and the expression that strel has, it perfect encapsulates their roles in their despite me not talking about them. expect more concept art of them and me rambling about the story :D
watch out y’all this lad’s going to be trying to draw robots like v1 and p03 and they’re going to be posting their progress here. they’re going to cry a lot during this but they want these men / women / all of the above carnally as well as their flatscreen asses therefore the only solution is to get good at drawing them.
