Hero Generation 6
Palette was so happy to finally start his journey and follow that strange call in his head. It told him how to open portals, which made traveling much easier. He was so excited.
He had overheard the warnings from his granpa “Be careful out there. Don’t step into the wrong AU.”
But the thrill of adventure drowned out the caution in his heart. Every portal he created fascinated him more and more. Every person he met, every sight he saw, was incredible. He absorbed it all like a sponge. With excitement bubbling inside, he opened another portal and stepped through.
The moment his shoe touched the ground, he crumbled. An ice-cold pain shook his bones.
What was that?
So much… too much.
Why did he feel so weak all of a sudden?
Why was he so scared... so terrified?
Why did his bones shake? Why were his eyes crying?
His mind clouded—stormy thoughts fell like raindrops and drowned him. He wanted to leave, but he couldn’t get up. This world was consuming him.
But it wasn’t just his fear.
He wasn’t afraid—was he?
He didn’t know why he would be.
Were those really his feelings?
They had to be… right?
He wanted to be home. Safe with Granpa. Right now. Please.
He needed help.He didn’t think he would ever feel so alone.
He cried for help. But nobody came.*
He couldn’t get up. It was overwhelming—fear, sadness, despair. He screamed, desperate and confused. What was happening? Why was everyone so scared? What was this immense hopelessness—growing like a black hole, swallowing everything... including him?And then that strange spark. Determination? Was that the source of all this fear?
Whoever that was had so much to much in their heart Palette already saw it how this world would die....
He felt like a flame—A candle caught in the middle of a raging storm, about to be snuffed out.He felt like a sailor in a lighthouse, about to be swallowed by a giant tsunami.Like a star, collapsing into nothing in the heat death of the universe.Like a firefly, caught in a vast spider’s web.
So small
So usless
So helpless
So completely alone.
He wanted to help them.He felt the urge to rise to become their hope. He needed to guide them. But he couldn’t.
Not alone
He was too weak.He wasn’t ready. He crumbled again, sinking into the ground.
He asked for help. But nobody came*.
He cried for help. But nobody came.*
He begged for help—Someone heard him.*
A warm light reached him. It blocked out everything else—like a soft blanket wrapped around him, shielding him from the oppressive atmosphere.
"Little one, what are you doing in a place like this? You’re not from here... How did you find yourself in such a terrible place? Let me bring you home, if you can tell me where do you belong?"
Palette finally found the strength to turn toward his savior. The voice was soft and calming. Golden-brown eyes met his gaze eyes that seemed to carry stars in their glow. A wooden crown—or was it a crown? Palette wasn’t sure. A light yellow cape, patterned with suns and stars, billowed gently. Palette didn’t know what to say.
The Omega Timeline? Is was his home? But was it where he belonged was that the same? No! His saviour had asked where he belonged! That wasn’t the same. So, weakly, Palette got to his feet and looked up at the tall skeleton.
"I don’t know where I belong... Can you help me find it?"
