hear me out. combine Angel au with Tim Twins au.
...and the reason the bats never meet angel in person is cause he has some mobility issues.
like maybe he uses a wheelchair and/or needs braces or a cane or smth. or maybe it's like some disease that makes him unable to do strenuous activities, like pots.
idk man, it's 1 am, i brain barf first, research later.
but then they(bats + Jackson) get themselves in trouble and watch whichever-evil-bitch-is-responsable get intimidated by some kid that can't even stand properly.
like, it's joker vs Some Guy, and joker is NOT Winning. (prob not gonna go as far as joker tho)
and then Jackson is all 'this is Angel ^-^'
angel: hi. ...bye
jackson: isn't he neat? the skrungly.
and half the batfam is like 'wait they're the same age??? and probably twins??? Angel isn't some weird father figure???'
the other half of batfam: no wait, it makes sense now. i can see the whole "raised eachother" thing better having seen that. the voice changer was prob just fucking with us.
... haven't read the fic in a while so uhh mc'scuse me for inaccuracies.
haven't played anything from the HS series yet but absolutely. Lane is a lot like me tbh
In her case, twice exceptional meaning she has a developmental disorder (autism) but is also intellectually gifted.
Can’t believe I didn’t see it earlier…🤔
Some signs:
• She didn’t cry as a baby.
• She was a quiet, calm child.
• Her parents thought she was strange.
• She didn’t play with other children.
• She preferred solitude over relationships.
• The way she played with her toys was “wrong.”
• She followed the same routines.
• She doesn’t fit into social norms.
• She easily recognizes patterns most are unable to connect.
• She has hyperlexia. She is fascinated by letters and numbers, loves rearranging them.
• She can hyperfocus on one thing for hours without a break. Even delaying sex to finish her job! 😂 Poor Dmitry.
The reason I’m thinking about this is because it reminds me of my daughter when she was a baby. She didn’t cry. She was a really easy baby. But she also played by lining things up. She knew all her phonics when she was 2. She started reading on her own when she 3. Sounds really similar to Lane, which makes me like her more. ❤️♾️
The last weeks were somehow mentally heavy. I mean, I know why, it’s just that I always hope, that this time my body and mind will be used to it. But the only way how we are used to it is to not see it until some weeks in the situation already. It sucks, honestly. I now have to, again, make up a new routine with little to no knowledge about my working hours at the internship, pretend like everything is fine there and then spontaneously change the plan every time someone else wants it changed. I didn’t know that an internship in a theater can be THAT autism unfriendly?? Sure, was clear that it will have some chaos, but really not having no palm at all and not even trying to give the interns some sort of knowledge? Nobody even told me upfront “hey btw we are a theater that has no scripts or anything, we just do stuff in the process, so you need to be prepared for changing hours and not knowing more than one day ahead”. It would be horrible news but it would be better than to find it out on the second day (on the first day nobody told us anything really).
I really really need to stop giving a damn haha
But how when Disability bE DiSaBiLiTing?😭🥲🫠
P.s. it’s a so called “inclusive theater” btw and yes they might be mostly good to the acting group but I am also Disabled can someone include me please T___T
here's a quick doodle that's very bad. Enjoy!
I was trying to draw this one and it didn't work that well...
