[Sketchbook Spreads]: Doodle Friday – Lilith Edition
This week:
Took on the dark divine—my interpretation of Lilith, Queen of the Underworld and Mother of Demons.
Started with more human take—haunting eyes and regal energy.
Then, dialled up the demonic:
– Inspired by The Temptation of Adam and Eve (1512) by Michelangelo and Echidna—gave her a massive serpent tail coiled and commanding.
– Final form: gone full mythic monster—wings instead of hands, a nod to harpies and sirens, ready to snatch souls and rewrite nightmares.
✨ Late to Huevember, but here we are! ✨
This doubles as concept art for Celestial Creatures, which I’m super excited to expand on.
The blue cat isn’t my original design—it’s by my amazing friend, and I’ve adopted it with her blessing. 💙🐾
Each Hue has an Animal group and Night/Cosmos theme related to it.

Average un-symbiosed Leafwing.
There are actually two types of leafwings, variants if you will. "Living Gardens" and "Walking Plants". This post is about the Living Garden variant.
At heart, Gardens are just that, gardens. They on average look like sticks or peculiar driftwood, and throughout their life have plants growing on them. It starts young where they have the highest chances of a complete symbiosis with a plant, When a Garden first symbioses with a plant, usually only ever one species of plant for their whole lifetime (things can get messy if there's multiple species on one dragon, the plants basically fighting each other for real-estate on the dragon). Vines and trees are by far the easiest for a Garden to symbiose with, with carnivorous plants being the hardest.
Garden families have traditions of keeping the "Family plant", with each generation either symbiosing with the same plant as their parents or the same general species.
So hey, this is a part of my communication homework.
The skull is inspired by the skull of a wolf and a deer. My classmate was the one who came with the idea, I just drew it in my style and corrected some anatomical proportions :b

Check this cute thing out
It was supposed to be a griffin at first but i forgot to draw the front legs lol 🐸
A little bit about the character:
-they're a creature
-they love eating oranges
-obssesed with summer! but hates watermelon
Also they attract humans by being oddly alluring and kill them so they can consume them! they are a shapeshift creature so like they change forms a lot to attract their prey plus they usually adopt the person's lifestyle until they get bored/hungry and go back to hunting :3c
A few species profiles out of the many inhabitants of the oceans of Veteris.
Biodiversity in Glow Forest Communities
Down on the floor of the Glow Forest, a startling array of lifeforms has evolved in the cool dark mist. The creatures that comprise the main structure of this biome are known as Vela, and they stretch skyward, consuming all the available sunlight and allowing none to escape below. This species won an evolutionary arms race long ago, and as a result its photosynthetic competitors were pushed to extinction. However being a successful monoculture has its disadvantages. Autotrophs form the base of the food chain in most environments, and now the Vela is the only one. This means it is now the main food source for many other species who would otherwise have more choices. Its main nemesis is the Stragulum. This amorphous creeping wrinkled blanket infects a new Vela pseudopod nearly as soon as it touches the ground. It rapidly takes hold and covers every inch of the surface, slowly digesting it. This in turn attracts a cadre of new organisms which consume the flesh of the Stragulum. Predators are then drawn to the area, and as the number of species grows, a self-perpetuating cycle of increasing biodiversity takes place. Eventually, the Stragulum becomes too much of a burden to the Vela and it severs its pseudopod in order to rapidly grow another nearby. But the biomass of the parasite still lingers for quite some time, feeding a plethora of bizarre and unique organisms scrambling for their share of the resources in this oasis of light amidst the darkness.
O Winged Shadow so divinely hellish,
Melter of Chains.
She's a material gurl with her two feet stilettos and natural winged eye liner and inate draconic greed 💅 [her name is pronounced Hal-threyie-zh]
Trying to get back into writing, so here's a short story about how a new acquaintance forced the young dragon to look at familiar things from a different angle. Have fun reading!
