#SYNOPSIS— general headcanons on asking your yandere husband for a divorce

Divorce was never an option for the Uchiha Clan. You were bound to him the moment he laid his eyes on you. As a cold hearted exterior man, inside he’s a soft hearted fool who loves to much. The moment you both had said your wedding vows your fate was sealed. He loved you very dearly it’s why he chose to marry you. To carry on the legacy of the Uchiha Clan. The news to you wanting a divorce was a shock to him. Wasn’t the purpose of marrying is to be together until deaths comes knocking at the door? It had caused him to be frustrated and angry. He couldn’t find any misplaced/wrong variables in his marriage.

Very few things ever surprised the man but surely this takes the cake. Wasn’t everything going smoothly? He couldn’t even pinpoint what the problem was. The both of you were happy were you not? What would the clan elders say? To know that you, future mother of his children wanting to divorce him, a clan head. It was a disgrace and a direct hit to his pride. He won’t settle for such atrocious decisions/actions. He’ll interrogate you asking if there was another man in your life or if this was some stupid rash decision. He’ll tear apart your words with harsher ones. Either way this man would outright refuse to accept a divorce. He loves you and you love him. Final decision. And if it comes down to it this man won’t hesitate to use his Sharingan against you to make you more submissive per say.

He wasn’t surprised. He’s a smart man, a Nara to be in fact and a Jounin commander. It wasn’t hard to put two and two together. All he could do was wait patiently until you asked the question. He would dance around the subject giving a few jabs here and there. He wasn’t ignorant, he knew there was something missing/hurting his marriage. But to be honest he didn’t exactly feel like arguing. So he simply heard you out, ranting about why you wanted a divorce and how this marriage wouldn’t work out. Your logic was by far the most flawed reasoning he’s ever heard. Unbothered and unfazed drinking a cup of sake. He would simply look at you, eyebrows perked up. He would stand up letting out a sigh. Cue you screaming and bashing at him for not paying attention, not giving you a drip of energy to even bother and see your point of view. And he won’t because he doesn’t care.

He doesn’t care enough to fix his marriage. As long as you’re beside him everything is fine and dandy. But if push comes to shove he won’t hesitate to turn your words around. There’s a reason why he’s declared the smartest man alive. He won’t hesitate to manipulate your way of thinking, reasoning out his actions. Blaming you how your inconsiderate and selfish. How he’s piled up with paperwork and hard decisions and here you are giving him a hard time. If that doesn’t work he’ll simply use his shadow technique and force you to go to bed with him and have this conversation tomorrow.
