Chuuya’s outfit makes me think so many thoughts. (Not that way, you dirty bastards.)

First of all. The way the colours slowly get darker with each layer, signifying that underneath it all, he’s got a pure heart. Good intent. But tries to keep it hidden, probably for self preservation reasons.

The neck cross shows how guarded he is.

The collar is to show his loyalty, just like a dog…

The gloves, while also having a physical purpose, symbolise his need to separate himself with the blood on his hands. It barely ever reaches his hands so he tells himself it’s alright.

And the hat, definitely for height purposes. I don’t have another reason for the hat, but google says possibly for status. If so, it’s probably another self preservation attempt.

If you want to make any creative piece, but you see that a person has already done it, you should still make it. Dont give a shit about people who come screaming "yOu're coPying ____ creator" because no matter what you do, eventually, 2 similar works are bound to emerge at some point.

You want to make a beaded dress with a gradient that represents the human soul? Robert Wun. Wanna write a jazzy Portugese rock song about a guy with an insane amount of diseases? Chico Fininho by Rui Veloso. Hell, you thought about making an animation for Breaking Bad to the song Caramelldansen? ALREADY. BEEN. DONE. In no way does it mean that you shouldn't do it too.

My point is that the world needs your interpretations, and you shouldn't stop yourself from making what you want just because some whiny guy on the internet thinks you stole an idea from someone. If you really want to make it, then do so by all means.
