I've seen a lot of people who write Muichiro as someone who sort of forgets he's not dating you in the crush stage, but my take is that Muichiro actually forgets he's dating you and thinks he's in his crush era.

🌸He'll approach you suddenly, a couple times a month, with a serious expression and red cheeks, to confess his not-so-secret crush on you from since the day you both met, having forgotten he had already done so and you both were already together

🌸You usually just go along with it until he gets to the "I hope you feel the same but I'll understand if you don't" part; then you break it to him with a shy laugh that he had already confessed and you both were going out

🌸It's not tiring at all to keep repeating the same scenario, not at all! Muichiro is so cute when he does it, unconsciously pulling an innocent puppy expression and staring at you hopefully. And when he remembers you both are a couple he'll immediately light up ever so excitedly, attack you in a hug, press his forehead against you and apologize in a flurry of "Sorry" and compliments

("How did I manage to pull someone like you?" He wonders out loud. You laugh - he's too cute for his own good.)

🌸Not only that it's honestly become a guessing game with you to see what method Muichiro would confess to you again this time. You both have approximately cycled through confession by love letter, gifts (he might've stolen it forgetting it belonged to someone else, but it's the thought that counts, right?), cloud-gazing date, outright declaration, jealous blurt...yeah, you've gone through every single trope there was possible

🌸Your favorite one was when he threw an airplane across the room to you and when you unfolded it he wrote a little sweet confession. You still have it, along with the rest he started throwing to you to 1. get your attention 2. annoy you 3. ask you to join him for training or cloud-gazing

🌸 You've told him multiple times it's okay if he wants to stare at you anytime he likes after catching him doing it one day, like he did when he was in his crush phase, but he forgot and acts like he just got caught performing the most atrocious crime on earth: looks away immediately and vehemently denies it

🌸Everyone around you guys thinks it's super funny and adorable how Muichiro would start talking about you and abruptly end it with something like "Is this what people mean by having a crush?" or "I would really like to be her boyfriend someday if I manage to confess and she accepts." As said above he gets really puppy-dog excited when he's told "Aren't you guys dating already?"

("We are?" Muichiro frowned. "I don't remember..." His eyes widen. "So that's who left me that daikon today..." Then he runs off forgetting he's in the middle of conversation to go find you.)

🌸Sometimes it's a little awkward when it comes to dates though. Say there's a festival happening in a nearby town or White Day and you've been planning to spend the day having fun with him - Muichiro's going to forget you're both together and be too shy to ask you out despite that's all he's thinking about. Then you have to remind him, or someone else triggers it.

("I'm so sorry I didn't ask you!" Muichiro pushed a small box of chocolates towards you. "I got you this as an apology if it makes up for it? We'll do anything you want for tonight if you want?)

🌸It's always funny when Muichiro gets sulky or starts moping around when he hears about your boyfriend and how you're gushing over him because he forgot it was him. You like to tease him about it by listing out all the qualities you like about him and the usual praise until Muichiro asks who it is, his jealousy quite obvious.

("You, dummy!"

Muichiro blinked, then groaned, grabbing onto your side and looking up at you pathetically. "Don't play with me like that!")

🌸Of course it's not all fun and games. If this is before he met Tanjiro and regained his memories he can be pretty cold to you when he doesn't remember about your relationship, leading to a lot of things you both have to talk through after a fight.

🌸Worse case scenario is that he still remembers you as a crush, but decides that instead of confessing like before he ought to push you away before you became a weakness, a distraction...someone he'd lose.

🌸After he gets back his memories and becomes more like his old self however, he doesn't forget your relationship anymore, meaning to make up for all the times he did. In fact he flexes it, wanting to tell everyone about the both of you all the time to the point your default face is now "extremely flustered".

🌸Especially when he's jealous, actually.

Muichiro whipped his head around at the sound of the two slayers gossiping in the corner during a break from his training. A slight crease forms between his eyebrows and he decides to go a little harder on them later.

"Nah, it's fine! I'm a hundred per cent confident she'll say yes as long as she isn't dating anyone!"

"But I heard she is," a third slayer joined in, leaning closer conspiratorially. "A Hashira, actually."

The guy in question bursts out laughing. Scumbag. "As if! Don't be so stupid. She's already lucky she could get MY attention."

"Who would want a stupid mizunoto like you?" Muichiro smacked the slayer with the flat of his blade expressionlessly. The other two yelped and scrambled back. "For your information (y/n) got my attention - and now you have mine: go run ten laps around the Estate and if I hear you defile her name again I'll make it a hundred."

He blew a raspberry at the poor wretch as he ran past.)

Your only response was more blood pooling from your lips.

He'd gently lift you up, taking off his haori and gently wiping your lips before gently holding it under your chin.

He didn't care if it became stained with blood, he could get another one.

He'd only care about your health, and your ability to move as you used to.

Tengen's usual flashiness disappeared.

Panic would cover him, head to toe.

Once regulating himself, he'd come closer to you, gently lifting you up in order for you to not choke on your blood.

For once, he'd be silent. Not a singular word would come from him.

His free hand would gently run through your hair as he'd watch you get the rest of it out.

You could've sworn he wasn't breathing the entire time.

Because when you stopped coughing things up, you could hear him taking a long, hard breath.

Mitsuri's heart broke as she saw you.

She would be at your side before you could even process that she was there.

She'd hold you close, whispering soft things to you as she gently rubbed your back.

She'd stay by your side the entire time.

She'd pat your back every now and again, making sure you were getting it all out.

She'd be silently sobbing, hoping you'd be okay in the end.

Once you stopped, she'd take her haori off, resting it on your shoulders.

Obanai would freeze up, panicking internally.

He didn't know whether to get Shinobu or do something himself.

Kaburamaru would notice this and gently slither off his shoulders to the ground.

He'd slither over to you, using almost all of his snake-like strength to push you up.

Once this happened, Obanai would snap out of it before running to you.

He was trembling, but held you up, as Kaburamaru gently slithered back to Obanai's shoulders.

Fright would be evident in his eyes even after you were okay.

Gyomei wouldn't be able to.. see you.

So he'd hear your coughing, and the liquid escaping your lips and put two (2) and two (2) together.

Tears would spill from his eyes as he'd make his way toward you, lifting you up.

He'd set his beads to the side, gently holding your hair back as he let you let it all out.

Like some of the others, he'd wrap his haori around you.

He'd feel terrible, causing more tears to spill.

As soon as he heard the blood stop hitting the ground, he'd pull you close, gently rubbing your back.

His fists would tighten, and his eyes would widen.

As soon as you calmed down, he'd pull you close, his arms wrapping around you tightly as he gently rocked the two of you back and forth.

Sometimes when you train, he'll start to tell you something you could fix and then his voice will trail off and he'll forget.

He also just kind of does that in general, not just in training.

Muichiro squeezed your hand as the two of you walked down a path, you finally felt safe.. you have had such a troubling past, that it made it hard to trust, but you never gave up.

Muichiro would probably say that’s one of his favorite things about you; your Optimism. No matter how bad the situation is, you find a way to look at the good.

The two of you walked hand and hand in silence until you noticed a face that you knew you would never forget, your breath hitched as you stopped in your tracks.

The man smirked at you as he got closer, you tried to tug your boyfriend in the other direction, but it was too late. “What a coincidence see you here, it’s been what? 4 years doll? We’ve missed you.”

You just stared at the man, speechless. You felt hot tears fall down your face, as you stood there unable to speak or move. Muichiro looked at you then the man, “she’s fine; leave.” He spoke with anger laced in his voice.

“She can speak for herself.” The man spoke trying to get closer to you, Muichiro placed himself infront of you. “I know she can, but I’ll speak for her this one time. Get the fuck out of our face.” He spoke protectively.

The man just chuckled walking away, sure to caress your arm on his way out. You kept your composure till you knew he was gone, when he was gone you fell to the ground sobbing.

Muichiro pulled you into his chest, running his fingers through your hair whispering encouraging words in your ear. You sobbed into the man’s chest, gripping his shirt tightly.

Muichiro carried you hope as you sobbed in his chest, when the two of you got inside you ran into the room, sobbing under the sheets. You were usually so strong, this behavior was foreign to the man.

The man gathered some of your favorite snacks and drinks, carrying it in the room quietly. “Angel..?” He spoke gently, placing your stuff on the dresser.

You peaked out from under the covers slightly, looking at the man who had a soft smile on his face. “Wanna talk about it?” He asked as he got under the covers with you, pulling you against his chest.

“Maybe later babe.. right now, this is perfect.”

Genya-

Genya laid on his back, sleeping peacefully. He was a very light sleeper, so when he could sleep he enjoyed it. You were holding his hand dragging him toward a park that you had always wanted to go to, when he felt you tossing and turning beside him.

He opened an eye to see you panting heavily, sweating, while looking distressed in your sleep. This woke the man up instantly, he shook your body gently while trying to wake you, “babe?”

You whimpered while beginning to cry, “baby! Wake up!” You shot up with tears streaming down your face. You gripped the man’s shirt, looking at him with hot tears streaming down your face.

“I… I’m sorry… you can go back to bed now… I’ll be back!” You spoke anxiously, before throwing the covers off your body, running to the bathroom locking the door behind you.

Genya knocked lightly on the door, right behind you, “open up baby..” he spoke gently on the other side of the door.

You unlocked the door before sliding down the wall sobbing into your knees as you pulled them close to your chest. Genya sighed softly, devastated to see you in such a stage. “Come here princess.” He spoke pulling you into his lap. You choked as you tried to speak to the man with you face stuffed into his chest.

“We don’t have to talk about it now dear.. just rest..”

Kanae walked beside you and Shinobu with a soft smile, you admired the woman as you were starstruck at the girl you called yours.

She giggled squeezing your hand, “I’m not going anywhere dear, you don’t have to stare.” You looked away feeling your face heat up, she had caught you in the act.

The three of you began to walk on a beautiful bridge, you were so distracted that you didn’t notice what was happening until shinobu began to get angry at the man that had the young girl by a rope, you looked at the scene appalled.

“Give her to us!” You demanded getting in the man’s face, clutching your sword. “She’s not for sale!” The man yelled, you felt yourself beginning to see red, so could kanae. She threw money up, as you sliced the rope. Shinobu grabbed the girl running away with kanae and you.

You looked down feeling the rage still coursing through your veins, when the four of you arrived at the butterfly mansion, shinobu took the girl away. You went away from the trio, feeling like you needed to get away.

Kanae rushed behind you, grabbing your arm to turn you toward her. “Are you okay, love?” She asked looking at your angered state. You just nodded your head, not wanting to verbally respond.

“Whatever’s wrong, we can talk about it babe.” She spoke gently pulling you closer to her. “I just remember when I was in her position…” you whispered looking down feeling the tears roll down your face.

The following days Sanemi and Mitsuri were patrolling around your home the two Hashira felt as though they were married to you, you would wake up and make breakfast for the three of you, and sometimes if you weren’t finished the both of them would help you, Kanroji asked you out to get Sakura Mochi and it was an absolute blast for the both of you and Mitsuri even bought (Fav color) socks that matched hers and you’ve been wearing them every day. Sanemi and you made Ohagi that the three of you ate together and you haven’t felt this happy in so long, you were kind of feeling upset about the both of them leaving but the three of you agreed to send letters to each other and you would get to meet new people so that cheered you up, so the three of you had some lunch before you saw the two Hashira off and would invite the next Hashira to your home. The three of you were walking down the familiar path to where you would meet two more Hashira.

Before you even arrived at the spot you heard someone yelling loudly to another person, you could see Kanroji get excited by the voice. When you entered the clearing you saw two people who seemed to be opposites, one resembled a calmly flowing river while the other was a fiercely exited flame 'Kyojuro! How are you?' Kanroji greeted the fire like man running up to him, you looked towards Sanemi and noticed he seemed very angry, you placed your hand gently on his arm making him tense a bit then look down towards you 'Are you ok Sanemi?' You asked filled with concern 'I'm fine just annoyed is all' Sanemi mumbled to you, the two of you then went to join the group 'Ah! Kyojuro this is L/N Y/N aren't they cute?' Kanroji asked introducing you to the other Hashira.

'Yes, they are! I'm Rengoku Kyojuro! It's nice to meet you!' The man yelled obnoxiously loud and you couldn't help but flinch at how loud he was 'Oi! Talk quieter' Sanemi growled at Rengoku and the Flame Hashira's smile seemed to dim due to you flinching 'I'm sorry L/N! I didn't mean to startle you!' Rengoku was still yelling but its volume was noticeably lower, you looked over to the other Hashira who was still unnamed to you. He was looking towards the ground and the air around him felt lonely, you walked up to him and he looked down at you at your approaching footsteps 'I'm L/N Y/N what's your name?' You asked introducing yourself but he stared down at you and you could feel Social Anxiety all over him 'You don't have to answer me, you're here to enjoy yourself and relax!' You explained and you could see and feel the Hashira in front of you calm down a little.

Sanemi and Kanroji were off and you were leading the new Hashira's to your home 'So! Your home is surrounded by Wisteria flowers?' Rengoku exclaimed 'Yes it blooms year-round here like at Fujikasane Mountain' you explained and you could feel the energy of the unnamed Hashira shift to one of self-loathing, you looked towards him he had his eyes downcast with a solemn look on his face 'Oh! My home is just up ahead!' You exclaimed grabbing the two Hashira's attention as they looked forward and you watched as they both stiffened and took in your home. Kyojuro couldn't believe his eyes it was a feeling like he was a child again and he would go inside and see his late mother again.

Giyuu was stunned, the air around your home was the same when he was a child and Tsutako was still alive, or when he was training with Sabito. Your home was so comforting and warm it was reminding the two boys of their fondest memories where they were taken care of and loved for, as before you showed the two their rooms and gave them a spare yukata to wear, but this time you went to your greenhouse to take care of your plants, you went to your room and put on a sombrero vueltiao, a dark blue ruana over a light grey shirt, a pair of black pants and finally your espadrilles.

In your greenhouse, you were growing herbs, vegetables, flowers, succulents, and cacti (they were your favorite) you put on some gardening gloves and got to work, making sure all the plants were taken care of properly until you heard the door open and looked to see Rengoku 'Ah! Hello, Rengoku I'm just taking care of my babies you can stay if you like' you said spritzing a baby succulent with water 'Did you grow all these?' Kyojuro asked in a softer voice than before as he looked all around, you had some hanging from the ceiling, some latching onto the wall and a few growing in the ground and some in a planter pot 'What are these?' He asked and you turned to see him pointing at your potatoes 'Those are my potatoes. I heard from Kanroji that you love sweet potatoes. I don't mind making some for lunch' you said and couldn't help but let out a giggle as Rengoku reminded you of the sun with that big smile of joy he had on his face.

You harvested the potatoes and some galinsoga parviflora, caper, and corn to make for lunch you weren't sure if your other mysterious guest would like what you make but if he doesn't you'll just make something else for him! You went to your kitchen and placed your ingredients on the bench and other things you might need and began to prepare lunch. When you had just finished making the sweat potatoes you felt your silent guest stand next to you, his energy was curious this time 'Hello! I'm just making some Ajiaco for lunch, it's from my home country' you said enthusiastically looking up at the man 'Tomioka Giyuu' he said suddenly confusing you.

'My name is Tomioka Giyuu' he finally said 'It's nice to meet you Tomioka! I'm L/N Y/N!' You happily introduced yourself glade that he was comfortable enough to introduce himself 'Is there anything I can do for you Tomioka?' You asked and silence followed but you still looked up at him 'It's ok, take your time' you said with a patient smile and after a few seconds he spoke up 'C-Could I help you with the food?' He asked shyly avoiding eye contact, at this, you beamed up at him 'Of course, you can!' You said then gave the Hashira a task as you did yours, there was a comfortable silence between you two.

Tomioka felt very relaxed in your presence, he didn't feel extremely awkward to try and talk with you and you wouldn't get angry with him like Sanemi or make him sad by bad-mouthing him like Iguro. The two of you then add the last things then served the food and Rengoku joined you two as soon as he smelt the sweat potatoes, every time Kyojuro would take a bite of the sweet potato he would boisterously yell out an "Umai!" He and Tomioka both tried your Ajiaco and said it was delicious. The three of you were in the comfort room, you were talking with Kyojuro, and Giyuu was listening and joining in time to time, Cherry suddenly flew through an open window and landed in your lap you gave her a cherry as she cawed happily and you gave her soft head pats.

'Tomioka Giyuu! Rengoku Kyojuro! Demons have been staying around Y/N's home! Kagaya asks that you petrol at night! Make sure Y/N is safe!' Cherry ordered to the two Hashira 'Is there anything else you can tell us?' Tokioka asked 'No more information! Ask Y/N!' Cherry screeched out then flew out the window to probably sleep in the sun, the two Hashira then turned to you, and you explained the day a demon almost kidnapped you while mentioning that part you saw the two men visibly tense up 'But in the end, Sanemi and Kanroji saved me' you finished off 'Well that was very brave of them! I'm glad they were able to rescue you!' Rengoku shouted out and Tomioka agreed nodding.

'You two don't have to patrol tonight. I'm sure you two are tired so I'm sure you can rest until tomorrow night!' You exclaimed 'That would be atrocious of us to not help someone in need because of tiredness! I'm sure Tomioka agrees!' Rengoku exclaimed and again Giyuu also agreed 'Well in the meantime while the sun is still up, how about we enjoy the hot springs!' You exclaimed and after the both of them agreed and now you three were relaxing in the hot water 'This is very relaxing L/N!' Rengoku exclaimed crossing his arms and closing his eyes.

You could tell that both of them were pretty relaxed enjoying the heat against their tense muscles 'Did the two of you have a specific reason for joining the Demon Slayer Corps?' You asked them both suddenly getting curious 'Well in my family it is tradition for the oldest child to join the Demon Slayer Corps!' Rengoku explained and you nodded along, you turned to Tomioka encouraging him to talk, but the energy returned to self-loathing 'If it's a hard subject Tomioka you don't have to say' you spoke trying to comfort the quiet male 'No... I-I would like to talk about it to some' Giyuu began. He knew that if he kept on bottling in his feelings they would just overflow and he did want to get all his troubles off his chest.

'I joined the Demon Slayer Corps due to my older sister Tsutako getting eaten by a demon' he said and you could feel his energy unbearably sorrowful but you could also feel a sense of relief 'I'm sure she was an amazing sister' you said which result in Giyuu letting out silent tears, you moved to where he was and embraced him while combing your fingers through his hair, you felt Kyojuro move and hug Tomioka from behind 'I can't imagine how devastating that must of felt. How old were you?' Kyojuro asked his voice was filled with much sadness 'I-I was 13' Giyuu managed to sob out and you and Kyojuro both tightened your hug on the Water Hashira 'She d-died the day before her wedding!' Giyuu cried out shoving his head into your shoulder blade.

His shoulders were trembling with the force of his sobs, both you and Kyojuro held Tomioka as he let out what must have been years worth of tears. After a few more minutes Giyuu calmed down enough as you and Kyojuro stopped the group hug but were close enough to hug the Water Hashira 'I met a boy named Sabito he was amazing! He almost defeated every demon during Finale Selection' Giyuu started and you could see the fondness on his face recalling the memory 'But he was killed. I was injured as soon as the trial started... I don't deserve to be a Hashira I couldn't kill a single demon on that mountain, it would be better if I died instead' Giyuu said that with such confidence he must have thought it was a fact.

'I don't think so' you said kind of annoyed that he would think such a thing 'But-' 'No buts. I can tell that you've worked so hard to become a Hashira. Also saying that you're better off dead is an insult to Tsutako and Sabito's memory. Do you have any other relatives? If not that Tsutako will be forgotten. Sabito might have someone else that will remember him but if you were to die, then all the memories you shared with him will disappear you ranted on and cupped Giyuu's face looking into his eyes 'So don't ever say you wish to die ever again!' You demanded. Giyuu was at a loss you had reminded of that very important conversation he had with Sabito.

Tomioka could feel the tears coming again and latched onto you in a hug again and you returned the hug. Soon enough the three of you had to get out of the hot springs or else you would turn pruny all over, both Hashira were preparing to go out to patrol and you made a bento for the both of them and you sent the both of them off, but not before insisting they can wait until the next night but Rengoku was having none of that. So the Hashira were off to patrol the area around your home, you just hope the both of them will be fine.

The three of you had gotten into a routine, you would wake up first to make breakfast for the three of you then you would take care of your plants in your greenhouse then you would spend time with the Hashira whether it be you playing some instruments or playing a board game, reading together, giving them a message or just spending time together in general. The week was ending and you noticed both Hashira were feeling down about leaving so you came up with the idea of sending letters together, which is were you are now as your Kasugai Crows were getting to know each other as the Hashira were ready to leave 'I wanted to give you two something before you leave' you said right before the three of you left your cottage 'For you Kocho I have this pouch filled with myrrh it helps with anger so whenever you feel angry just smell this' you explained handing over the pouch it was purple that had a brown string tying it together 'Thank you (L/N)' she smiled and you knew it was a real smile as she took the gift putting it in her pocket 'For you Iguro I made this scarf so you and Kaburamaru can keep warm!' You exclaimed presenting the scarf, it had the same pattern as Iguro's haori 'These are lovely gifts (L/N)' Iguro smiled wrapping it around his neck as Kaburamaru snuggled into it, Winter was about to end so Spring was close by but you wanted to make sure the two were warm. Sanemi asked and you stared a bit telling he was nervous 'Please do' you whispered desperately and the Wind Hashira who was characterized as being aggressive and threatening, carefully lifted your body in his lap and held you while running his fingers through your hair.

Sanemi at first thought of you as weak and small like his mother but he was remembered that just like his mother you were strong, he tightened his grip on you even though you are strong he needs to protect you no matter what he couldn't protect his mother but he can protect you and he will protect you, usually he would push away the people he loves like Genya but with you he feels like he physically can't do that 'Thank you shinazugawa you are very kind' you thanked giving him a tired smile that the Hashira thought made you even more adorable and his face erupted in flames being reminded how adorable you are 'I-It's no problem' Sanemi muttered growing more embarrassed by the second 'If you want I can leave you seem uncomfortable' you commented looking up at him while he finally looked down at you 'No I'm fine it's just been a while since I've held someone!' Sanemi rushed out 'Would it be ok if we cuddled tonight?' You asked face completely red from your own question as you avoided eye contacted and Sanemi felt as if an arrow was shot through his heart 'S-Sure' Sanemi agreed enjoying the way your face lit up and carried you to your room and Sanemi set out a bigger futon for two, he let you lay down first and nervously got under the blanket and he laid down extremely stiff.

'Shinazugawa is it alright if I try something?' You asked and after the Hashira gave you the okay, you gently moved Sanemi's head to your chest and held his face so gently as you put your own head on top of his 'Your hair is very soft' you commented already falling asleep with Sanemi's body heat warming you up, and the Wind Hashira was shacking softly as to not to disturb you, he then wrapped his arms around your waist and buried himself deeper into your chest, you were warm oh so very warm he could hear your heart beating comfortably lulling the white haired man to sleep.

When Sanemi woke up you were thankfully still asleep as he looked up at your face admiring how calm you looked asleep, thinking of a great idea he got up and went to the kitchen to make you some breakfast, halfway through Kanroji had woken up and after hearing about what Sanemi was planning she was more than happy to help seeing as the Wind Hashira wasn't the best cook. You had woken up to an empty bed and assumed you had just dreamed up the events of last night as you tightened your yukata around you and went to the kitchen to make breakfast, but once you entered the kitchen you were shocked to see Kanroji and Shinazugawa finishing up making pancakes '(L/N)! You shouldn't be here, we were going to surprise you in bed!' Kanroji was suddenly brought back to the present when you pinched her cheek and the girl engulfed you in a hug 'I'm so sorry if I brought up bad memories I just wanted to get to know you more! Kanroji apologized then got a towel and lifted you up then settled you down on a rock then began to softly rub the wet cloth on your body, while cleaning your body Kanroji would kiss some of your scars some were ticklish which you would try to suppress your giggles but Kanroji would just tickle you more until you were crying for laughing too much 'I just can't believe this could happen' Kanroji said hugging your back and placing her head on your shoulder, while you tried to calm down your laughing fit and a small blush on your face 'You can't believe what could happen?' You asked leaning your head on hers 'That someone could hurt someone as kind and beautiful as you' Kanroji muttered hugging you more tightly while burying her head in your shoulder, at her comment you tensed up then smiled.

You turned your body to face Kanroji and cupped her face 'I don't think it's unbelievable, many people hurt others whether they want to or not, whether they are beautiful ugly kind or mean they'll all get hurt someway or another, you just have to figure out if they meant it or not and decide if you forgive them. I haven't talk with any of my family members since I came to Japan and what they did to me I can never forget and I'm not sure if I'm ready to forgive.... but I'd be willing to try' you stated smiling warmly at Kanroji. Then the front door to the Hot Springs was slammed open and you and Kanroji looked to see Sanemi with a towel wrapped around his waist as he stared at you two 'Ah! Sanemi! Soon Sanemi joined you two staying close while occasionally glaring at Kanroji 'So what were you two talking about?' Sanemi asked 'Not much really just life stuff' you spoke smiling up to the white haired man 'Didn't seem like it wasn't not much' Sanemi muttered looking directly at Kanroji while he said that 'Well I should probably get out now I was going to go out and collect some flowers in the forest!' you talked happily 'I can come with you!' Sanemi rushed looking up at you as you stood wrapping a towel around your body and grabbing your yukata.

'I'll be fine! The place I'm talking about is still in the Wisteria forest so no demons can get me! Plus I'll be home before sundown!' You exclaimed walking out of the hot to get changed. You grabbed a basket and some scissors to snip the flowers from the stem instead of just breaking them, walking through the wisteria forest was always relaxing in your opinion, you would hear the birds chirping and would sometimes see a deer if you were lucky enough, you sat down and began to pick some flowers for some teas or for decoration until you heard someone cough very heavily, looking up you saw a man bent over a cart on a road, quickly walking over to the man you offered him your water container you brought in case you got thirsty 'Are you ok?' You asked the man 'Yes I'm alright I've just got a bad cough is all' he said 'Let me help you!' You yelled not waiting for an answer as you gripped the carts handle 'Are you sure I don't live that far from here' the man protested worried 'I'm sure lead the way!' You declared and began to follow the man to his home, hopefully this won't take too long and you can get home before any demons show up.

Your job in the Demon Slayer Corps was a necessary one but not that known about, your job was to give Demon Slayers and sometimes Kakushi a place to wind down and relax, you were good friends with Ubuyashiki Kagaya and would often visit him and when he told you of how sometimes his children are stressed a lot you offered to help out, and now you have a cottage that you modified to have an extremely relaxing atmosphere surrounded by wisteria trees. You heard the caws of your Kasugai crow named Cherry since that was her favorite treat her feathers were a Quinacridone Magenta color, you patted her head and gave her a cherry and she cawed happily eating the treat as you took the note that was strapped to her leg to read it.

I hope you are doing well and taking care of yourself. I wish to inform you that my Hashira will be visiting you as I’ve noticed that the nine of them deserve a break I can only send two of them for now but when the two have finished I will send two to replace them.

“The Hashira huh? I haven’t met them before, some Demon Slayers and Kakushi mentioned them giving them a hard time…. But from what I’ve heard from Kagaya they’re very kind” I thought cleaning around my cottage and making sure everything is ready, then I went outside and began my walk to greet the Hashira that will be staying with you. You see your house was built right next to a waterfall so you could have hot springs for your guest so there was a specific way to get to your place, any other way and you’d be lost in the dense forest of wisteria.

You found yourself in a clearing with a female and male in front of you, you assumed the two were the Hashira but they were quite short but still taller than you ‘Hello! Are you two Hashira by chance?’ You asked grabbing both their attention as they immediately reached for their katana getting in a fighting stance ‘My Kagaya was right you two seem very stressed!’ You gasped shocked and the girl slowly lets go of her weapons handle ‘Are you the one who will be caring for us?’ She asked still on guard ‘Yes I am! I’ll be taking care of you two for a few days, so please follow me!’ You happily spoke and the three of you began to walk back to your cottage with the male still being on guard ‘Oh! I almost forgot! My name is (L/N) (Y/N) what are your names?’ You asked looking at the two ‘I’m Kocho Shinobu and this is Iguro Obanai’ Kocho introduced.

After a few minutes, the three of you arrived at your house and the two Hashira stared the atmosphere was so warm and calming, you were about to enter your house until you noticed the two Demon Slayers weren’t behind you ‘Would you two like to come inside!’ You called out to them and the both of them froze up, the way the wind was moving through your hair with a few wisteria petals blowing around you, and to add to it your smile reminded the two of the shining sun.

‘Are you two ok? Both of your faces are very red!’ You worriedly spoke running up to the two ‘Do you two need some water or I can set out a futon for you?’ You reached out your hands and placed them on the forehead of the two to check their temperature after a few seconds the both of them reacted with Iguro turning his head away while muttering under his breath and Kocho grabbed your hand with a smile ‘We’re fine (L/N) just taking in the place’ she spoke and the three of you went inside your home, it was big enough to house three people so you three should be comfortable ‘Let me show you two to your rooms’ you said walking down the hall

‘Here are the rooms, mine is at the end of the hall if you need anything you spoke pointing at your room ‘There are also a pair of yukata in the rooms if you’d like to change. Oh before I forget Iguro would you follow me please’ you spoke and he grumbled but still followed you. Going to your room you opened a shelf and began to look through some draws ‘I noticed that you wear bandages covering your mouth, and that can be uncomfortable which is not what we need so you should wear this instead’ you explained bringing out a white mask you brought out a matching pastel (F/C) mask and put it on ‘You put it on like this and if you want to keep it on without taking it off you can do this’ you said pulling it under your chin smiling at him ‘You don’t have to wear it I just thought it would be more comfortable’ you spoke offering it to him and he hesitantly took it ‘You can put it on now if you want!’ You exclaimed closing your eyes and covering them with your hands.

Obanai didn’t know what to think, at first he thought this whole relax for a week was a waste of time when he could be slaying demons instead when he saw you he couldn’t deny that you were very cute but he was only into Kanroji no one else…. But this gift is something else. Smiling Iguro took off his bandages and put on the mask you had given him then he cleared his throat ‘I’m done’ he said you removed your hands from your face and opened your eyes ‘Wow…. The mask looks good on you’ a small blush was on your face ‘It makes you even more handsome!’ You gushed smiling making Iguro become a flustered mess, looking closer at Iguro’s neck you noticed his scarf wasn’t a scarf but a snake! ‘Oh my! Is that a snake! What’s their name?’ You excitedly asked looking up at Iguro ‘H-His name is Kaburamaru’ Iguro stuttered trying to calm down, then the albino snake moved from Iguro’s neck to yours wrapping around your neck comfortably ‘His very cute’ you spoke petting his head

‘Ara~Ara~ (L/N), Iguro have you forgotten that I’m here too~’ Kocho spoke up surprising you too. ‘Ah! Kocho I didn’t mean to neglect you, you are also a guest do you need something?’ You fretted over the girl not realizing she was just teasing ‘I was just teasing (L/N)’ she explained ‘No I was being a bad host Iguro if you want you can go change as well’ you said smiling up at him and he quickly left to not further embarrass himself ‘So is there anything you want or need Kocho?’ You asked attention to her ‘Well I am a bit hungry and I’m sure Iguro is as well’ Shinobu spoke and you nodded ‘Why don’t you explore around you might find something you like’ you spoke then rushed back to your room looking through letters you exchanged with Kagaya ‘Ah! Here it is!’ You yelled looking at the letter Kagaya had sent you a letter of all the things he knew the Hashira liked and you found the one with food ‘So Kocho likes Ginger Tsukudani and Iguro likes Tororo-Konbu, ok I think I have all the ingredients’ You spoke then went to the kitchen to start cooking

You felt Kaburamaru wiggle around ‘Is something the matter Kaburamaru?’ You asked looking at the snake as he slithered down your arm ‘He might be cold’ you heard Iguro say behind you so you turned to face him ‘Really? I guess I should bring him outside’ You said looking up at Iguro ‘I was just going to start making some lunch Kocho is off exploring but feel free to do whatever you want’ You said moving your arm to Iguro’s neck so Kaburamaru can wrap around him as you continued to prepare lunch as you heard Iguro walk off. The food was done so you lifted the plates and went to look for the two Hashira and you found them in the room all the Demon Slayer and Kakushi like, the room had beanbags around the room and many pillows, as well as a bookshelf filled with books and games you would play with guest as well as a few instruments you would also play for any guest, currently Kocho, was looking at your books and Iguro was staring intensely at your instruments ‘Hello I’ve got lunch here!’ You spoke placing the food on a table ‘Iguro if you want you don’t have to eat in here’ you commented looking at the man and he thanked you before taking his food and leaving ‘What about you (L/N) aren’t you going to eat anything?’ Kocho asked looking at you ‘I’m fine I ate before you two showed up’ you said sitting across from Kocho.

‘(L/N) I wanted to ask you are a foreigner right?’ Kocho asked ‘Yes I’m from Colombia’ you said happily ‘Why do you ask?’ You questioned ‘Just curious. What’s Colombia like?’ Kocho asked 'It's amazing everyone in my hometown is so nice and friendly! And nature looks so colorful and bright! But the music and dancing is my favorite!' You spoke animatedly while Shinobu smiled watching you talk so excitedly about your home, you just hoped that she would buy most of it. The truth is you came from a very toxic family they were all abusive in there own ways and with battles happening near were you lived you had to escape but at least you found Kagaya who helped you so much that you would do about anything to repay the kind man, you waited till Kocho finished her food and it was almost evening 'Kocho if you want I can give you a message before you go in' you offered before you two approached the hot springs 'If you don't mind' Kocho said and she followed you to a room and asked her to undress and lay on the message table as you turned to give her some privacy, you lit a scented candle and poured some essential oils on your hand before starting the message 'You have lovely skin Kocho' you absentmindedly spoke as you worked getting some appreciative groans from the girl 'Is that so?' She asked 'Yes it's very beautiful, are you married?' You asked not once stopping and you felt Kocho tense 'I'm sorry if that is a sensitive topic' you soothingly spoke rubbing her shoulders.

'It's fine you just startled me. No I am not married, why do you ask~?' Kocho questioned in a teasing tone 'I'm sure whoever wins your heart you will make that person very happy' you said smiling and Shinobu felt warm your words sounded so sincere and comforting that she couldn't help but blush, ever since she's gotten here and met you her heart has been all astir and she can't help but just look at you 'Kocho would you like a scalp message?' You asked and with a quick 'Yes' Shinobu was sat up with a yakuta on and her butterfly hairpin placed gently on the table, and with clean hands you gently began to thread your fingers through her hair and Shinobu felt tears well up in her eyes, this all felt so domestic like demons didn't exist this was all just too much, soon enough Kocho was full on sobbing and you held her in a gentle but firm hug and she clung to you afraid she could lose this feeling 'It's ok you can let it all out' you whispered gently to her rubbing her back soothingly, after what felt like hours to Shinobu she was only sniffling when you handed her some water 'Do you want me to continue?' You asked standing near Shinobu in case she needed something 'I think I'll go to bed know' she said and you nodded picking up her butterfly hairpin offering it to her 'My room is always open if you ever need something remember that ok' you said reaching up to gently hold her cheek then gave her the warmest smile you could muster then began to clean up and Shinobu left to her room, she could still feel your gentle hands over her body, you hand been so soft and gentle and even though she was suppose to be relaxing her heart couldn't stop hammering in her chest.

You had just finished your cleaning when you saw Iguro walking out of the hot springs talking to Kaburamaru 'Iguro did you enjoy yourself?' You asked walking up to him, he nodded at you closing his eyes in a way that made you think he was smiling 'I did it was very nice!' He exclaimed making you smile as well 'That's good to hear, did you enjoy your food from earlier?' You asked and was met with the same answer 'I imagine your heading to bed' you said looking up at him 'I am I hope you rest well' he said shocking you a bit, usually the Demon Slayers or Kakushi would just thank you and that was it, but with Kocho asking about yourself and Iguro hoping you have a good sleep felt new but warm as well 'I hope you and Kaburamaru have a good sleep as well' you smiled and Iguro caught the gratefulness in your eyes and with the way you looked so innocent to him, made him feel the need to protect you from this dangerous world as he felt his heart quicken up 'W-Well I'll be off now' Iguro stuttered out walking to his room rather quickly before you could respond, shrugging his behavior off you also went to your room writing in a journal about the day and experiences you had and about Kocho and Iguro, you just hoped when you meet the other Hashira that they will be just as kind as those two. You smiled putting the book away then setting out your futon and laying inside it getting comfortable, you just wish that tomorrow will be just as pleasant as today.
