Fun fact! Dahlia Hawthorne and Sister Iris’ hair aren’t complete recolors of each other!

You may or may not have noticed that their split ends are actually drawn a bit differently from each other:

And this is even consistent in their HD Gallery sprites:

(there weren’t enough pixels for it to be consistent in their original gallery sprites lol)

So yeah, just a fun little design fact about the Hawthorne twins! :]

What to do with this information? I actually have a proposition!

I think in fanart, this detail could be used as a little shorthand to signify who is who, particularly when they’re switching places. Like if you’re making art of Iris posing as Dahlia, and don’t want to keep her hair black, or clarify 85 times in the description/tags “THIS IS IRIS NOT DAHLIA”, it could be a little way to show it’s her.
