Shifting cause my soulmate is in a whole other reality🤪
I'm so tired of youtubers making fun of reality shifters😭😭
shifters are genuinely so cute tbh.
Like what do you mean you're shifting to be a badass hero? Like fuck yeah, save the damn world.
What do you mean you're shifting to have this peaceful simple life? Breathe into that air and feast into your life.
What do you mean you're shifting for this family member? You must care and love them so much to consider them your family.
What do you mean you're shifting for your significant other? You fell in love so hard even though y'all are in the longest distance relationship, you're the high standards.
We all are shifting for something that fills the purpose of our lives, and something about that is so human of us.
scripting high metabolism too, i've already scripted my body type–but it couldn't hurt to double down, right?

a supernatural phenomenon in which a person’s astral body is said to separate from the physical body and travel to or in a different plane of existence. (dictionary.com)
The term was first recorded between 1885 and 1890.
"The idea comes from a 19th century mystical system called theosophy which claims that we have seven bodies from the lowest physical to the highest spiritual and mental bodies," Dr Susan Blackmore told HowStuffWorks during an interview. (Astral projection: Facts and theories, Callum McKelvie, Benjamin Radford, February 25, 2022)
According to Wikipedia, astral projection takes up some type of form in the following religions: Kemetism (Ancient Egyptian), Animism/Shamanism (Amazon, Inuit), Hinduism, Shinto (Japanse), Taoism (Taoist), Judaism, Christianity, and Western esotericism.
The idea of astral travel is ancient and occurs in multiple cultures. The term "astral projection" was coined and promoted by 19th-century Theosophists. It is sometimes associated with dreams and forms of meditation. (Astral Projection, Wikipedia)
Western esotericism is used as an umbrella term for a wide variety of historical traditions that were traditionally neglected in academic research but have been moved to the foreground in recent years. These include “gnostic,” Hermetic, or theurgical currents in late antiquity, the so-called “occult sciences” (astrology, alchemy, magic), Jewish and Christian kabbalah1, theosophy, Rosicrucianism2, illuminism3, occultism4, spiritualism5, and related trends in modern and contemporary culture such as new age and occulture. (University of Amsterdam)
1 a form of Jewish mysticism that focuses on understanding the hidden, secret knowledge and meaning within Jewish tests and practices2 the belief that its members possess secret wisdom that was handed down to them from ancient times. 3 belief in or claim to a personal enlightenment not accessible to humankind in general 4 the study and pursuit of hidden knowledge, often aimed at achieving spiritual insight or personal power 5 a system of belief or religious practice based on supposed communication with the spirits of the dead, especially through mediums
theosophy, occult movement originating in the 19th century with roots that can be traced to ancient Gnosticism and Neoplatonism. The term theosophy, derived from the Greek theos (“god”) and sophia (“wisdom”), is generally understood to mean “divine wisdom.” Theosophical writers hold that there is a deeper spiritual reality and that direct contact with that reality can be established through intuition, meditation, revelation, or some other state transcending normal human consciousness. (theosophy, editors of Encyclopedia of Britannica, J. Gordan Melton, May 9, 2025)
In esotericism, astral projection (also known as astral travel, soul journey, soul wandering, spiritual journey, spiritual travel) is an intentional out-of-body experience (OBE) in which a subtle body, known as the astral body or body of light through which consciousness functions separately from the physical body, travels throughout the astral plane. (Astral Projection, Wikipedia)
Most people see astral projection as a method to shift, there are countless posts about it on forums, some I will list below if you would like to read for yourself.

There isn't much talk about astral projection, but it is the sister of shifting and can be used as a method of shifting. I've heard talk of waiting rooms, and astral projection can be used as a waiting room as well.
There are so many possibilities regarding shifting because shifting is limitless. Recently I've had an out of body experience right after shifting/manifesting, which I now believe to have been astral projection.
Update: I have learned something new, astral projection is when, "...your consciousness fully leaves your body and floats around this reality." (@callsigndio , commented).
So what I experiences was likely the void state, which I will be doing more research on tomorrow!

Blackbird - 4/11/25 My nonna loved the Beatles, recently I've come across some of their song for a school project and Blackbird is my favorite. When I heard it for the first time, I felt like I'd heard it before, but of course I had no memory of ever hearing it until that moment. I feel connected to it somehow and when I listen to it, I think of my s/o in my dr(s). I have the same s/o or rather I have the same fc for my s/o in every reality, so it works for any dr. I think having strong reminders for the people in my other realities helps me tether them to myself.
Me, a Writer? - 4/12/25 "I tried being a writer, but... I hate what I write." -Charlotte I love this quote, theres a connection to it I just cannot place. When I leave this reality for another, I believe with all my earnest it should stay with me.
now i know my purpose in life is to explore the universe
there are going to be hardships in my desired reality. hardships i may not face here–i don't know what this was, but i was being forced to cut my hair because we were going to war or something, and there was this woman. i asked her why she didn't have to cut her hair and she shrugged. it was weird, like she knew something i didn't.
it was also weird because i had a ton of knowledge the woman around me didn't, i was one of the young ones, but even the older ones were getting on me about what i was saying.
the younger ones said, "we're not suppose to talk about stuff like that." and i replied very sarcastically, "what? about sex? and the female body?" it was so preposterous to me, but i didn't know i was "dreaming", i don't remember touching anyone (i think, maybe the woman i'm not sure) so i don't think it was shifting either.
it was this weird in-between.
i knew all these things i shouldn't, but it didn't occur to me why that was or that it was odd for me to be more educated than the woman around me when we so clearly had the same education.
it was also first-person pov–but i don't remember touching anyone, but i do remember some woman grabbing me because i was waving a rolled-up newspaper, threatening to hit one of the generals.
can someone explain to me what in the hell i experienced?
my little corner ᡣ𐭩 hi, my name is caterinà, most people call me lina from my second name adelina.
"there are other realities out there, why would i limit myself to only one?" -lina
WHAT'S UPP, i'm aria (no that isn't my real name, but it might as well be). im a shifter and HAVE been since January 2021 (i shifted for the first time, a month after to my hogwarts DR).
shifting is so silly, bc WDYM i can successfully evade my exams (lit what im doing tn), and be all happy in my drs, whilst my classmates are stressing ab what to revise for??
A few things that helped me shift/pieces of info that have stuck w me throughout my journey the last few years:
I like comparing the history of shifting to lucid dreaming. For so long, people just didn't believe in the idea that people were really having these dreams because there wasn't really any 'proof'. Looking back on different historical texts though, there are descriptions of gaining and controlling conciousness in dreams/while sleeping (differnet texts from Buddhism, Hinduism, and Aristotle from the 4th century bce.) But once religion took less of a hold on people, the practice was questioned for the general reasons of seeming to 'out there' and 'unrealistic' (sound familiar?). But then the 1970's rolled around, and people got more information on what happens during the REM cycle of sleep, and all of a sudden it's so much more normal to talk about again! Now it's literally the excuse anti - shifters will give you to say that shifting itself isn't real.
Relating this^^ to shifting: this practice has also been around for thousands of years through different religions, perception of it has just changed recently in the past couple hundred or so because of studies in physics and quantum jumping. I think we're still in a period between people really believing in it and others still against the idea. Because of this, I have no doubt that maybe once it becomes a more researched topic, or maybe just generally becomes more normalized, that shifting is going to become a regular practice.
Still kind of on this topic^^: people have been doing this for thousands of years. Like we can't fathom this, this is not a recent development in human history, it didn't start in 2020. I've seen the elderly share shifting experiences. Reddit posts from 2014. My own 'dreams' I and others used to have as a kid that had me confused when I shifted back. Glitch-in-the-matrix scenarios. The mandala effect. This is so, so, deep, and couldn't possibly be just some 'inside joke' people came up with during covid.
Okay this one is more recent, but I saw someone on here say that your actual awareness/consciousness shifts before you can feel your senses change? And oh my god that is such a good way to put it.
All we are is a being of consciousness. Like that's... it. That's all it is. You just happen to be aware of this reality right now. (duh, but still)
If you can't get stuck in your drs, why would you ever be able to get stuck in this one? You can shift out of that reality with intention alone--so shift out of this one the same way. There is no difference.
All you need is intention. This one is definitely more common, but by god every single thing you could possibly do to get yourself to try and shift: meditation, affirmations, scripting, etc is just a more physical and 'organized' version, if you will of what's already there. That's also why doubts don't matter at all, because they don't affect your true intention/desire to shift. Same sort of thing with physical scripts, as long as you have the intention for some detail to be added to your dr, it will be there. You can totally forget about it too, I can't tell you how many teeny ideas I've had that are completely gone from this brain for probably ever that are still in my drs. Your conciousness will remember.
- okay thats it for now, ill add if i remember stuff. and please please PLEASE let me know if any of this is misinformation, and ill be sure to look into whatever it is a bit more to fix it. thanks!
