Expectation: People enjoying the game about being a gay/trans/bi dad and dating other dads that are poc and trans. Having a great relationship with your daughter. Enjoying all the dads different personalities. And enjoy the awesome dad puns
Reality: People complaing it's not gay enough, and no sex scenes. Saying the game isn't worth buying/being anti-dream daddy. Saying it's homophobic because it has a cult ending that's not even offically in the game. People wanting a female version of the game. People bashing the game because game grumps was apart of it. People bashing other people's fanart and telling them to kill themselves. Basically being the worst fandom ever
