It just felt right to experience this change with him. That after everything they sacrificed in order to save the world, Cynder and Spyro had earned getting to bask in the peace they made. Making their way down the mountain side, the bright sun warms dark scales. Stepping closer to her companion, the wind dragon tentatively nuzzles her cheek to vibrant purple scales. "I'm happy that we made it out of that mess, together."

Wings spread as far as they could, catching the wind beneath as they descended the mountainside. Ever so gently did his paws met the earth once more, landing in the valley. Soft blades of grass were a much welcomed changed to the charred earth of MALEFOR'S creation. His eyes came to a close, returning the gesture. 〝 Yeah.... Me too, 〞 He spoke softly, as if fearing his voice would disrupt the peace of the valley. 〝 I'm forever THANKFUL to have you by my side. 〞
It's still rather strange, having returned to the security of the temple in the wake of having survived everything. There was no greater adventure waiting for Cynder, no final enemy waiting to be slain. She simply had to return to the only place she could call a home, and rebuild a way of life the wind dragon has never experienced before. It took a great deal of effort on her part not to feel unequipped for such a task. "Right behind you," When Terrador had approached the young dragon, she wasn't sure what to expect. Even at a time of peace, the temple always seemed bustling with activity. "I don't think I've been down here before."

A small chuckle escaped from the green dragon, echoing down the hall of the dragon temple. 〝 Not many have. 〞 The guardian answered, 〝 When Gaul attacked the temple, he bombed the temple to BLOCK our escape routes with rubble. You are one of the first to see this part of the temple UNEARTHED. 〞
As the pair approached their destination, marked by the teal banner gently flowing at the end of the hall, the earth dragon glanced down at the dragoness. 〝 Cynder, you will ALWAYS have a home here. You have a place amongst the guardians, if YOU so choose. 〞

Yet, it had to be done. Most of the earth guardian's time was spent rebuilding the dragon temple. First the grotto, then the training area, the library, and lastly the guardians' quarters. 〝 Come Cynder, 〞 The earth dragon beckoned her to follow him. 〝 I have something to SHOW you. 〞

He felt his crest - fallen chest ache - the guilt of knowing felt like a boulder forcing the air from his lungs. The guardian wasn't strong enough to save Cynder all of those years ago and yet, here they stood beside one another. He had to be strong for HER now. With a roll of his shoulders, he inhaled - the proud dragon standing tall once more. 〝 Every WARRIOR learns when to make a stand, Cynder, and when to call for backup, 〞 Green eyes fell upon the black dragon. 〝 Whenever you are ready to make that call, I will be right here beside you. 〞
