Presenting the first of my default clothing replacements! I won't lie, this was a looooot more tedious than doing hairs BUT it was totally worth it.
What's different about this to the normal clothes?
Let's face it - a lot of the vanilla clothing presets are extremely outdated and while create a style is great, sometimes I don't want to spend ages re-colouring everything to make it look presentable. So, this overhaul features some brand new ones!
On top of the presets, I've also re-categorised the clothes to make more sense. However, you can always change these to your own liking in S3PE/S3OC.
And finally, the best part... pregnancy morphs have been added to all clothing items, INCLUDING those for male sims!
With all that out of the way, view under the cut for download links + info!
Like my world overhaul series, I have included two flavours: maxis match, and my reduced shine. For reference, all of the sims in the banner have my reduced shine clothing. You can only have ONE in your mods folder.
Another thing to note if you're using the compact CAS from NRAAS's Master Controller like myself, when you click on the items they will put one of the vanilla presets on the sim. Unfortunately this is out of my control, but you can view all the presets by entering create a style.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: CLEAR YOUR CACHE BEFORE INSTALLING DEFAULT REPLACEMENTS!!! I personally like to use Onebeld's Regul Save Cleaner to do this. I've found that sometimes it will disable packs from the launcher, so make sure to double check this before opening the game.

Nestled in the heart of Salmon Woods, The Enchanted Mug is a charming, centuries-old building with a history as rich as its brews. Once a cozy apothecary, the space has been lovingly transformed into a witchy-themed café, blending old-world magic with modern comforts. While the original stone and timber structure remain, a few recent additions bring new life to the place, creating the perfect spot for both locals and wandering souls to enjoy a touch of enchantment with their coffee. Huge thank you to @martassimsbook for her amazing CC Sets that really made this place possible to make! Download here: ❀ The Enchanted Mug

How many hours of your life do you think you’ve spent scouring the internet looking for CC / mods for Sims 3? I don’t even want to think about how much time I’ve spent doing that in all years that I’ve been playing…
Tumblr is great, don’t get me wrong… but when you’re looking for a specific type of CC, it can be…. well…. not fun. Tumblr is wonderful for following players and creators, but it’s not a CC search engine by any stretch of the imagination. Sure, you can hop from one “finds” account to another, but even that’s not efficient.
So I started thinking about this problem, and how it might be solved, and I kept thinking, “I wish there was a site where we could catalog and organize links to content all across the web.” Well hot damn… I’ve got an unlimited web hosting plan! When you see a need, fill it. So, I’m starting a Sims 3 CC & Mods link directory website.Â
The basic premise is that links to CC & Mods (to the creator’s original post or site, if possible) from every corner of the web can be organized by categories and tags. This enables users to drill down to specific types of content that they’re looking for, or just search for keywords or browse the categories to see what’s out there.Â
I think that’s a pretty cool idea and would be tremendously useful! And furthermore, the system I’m using enables users to submit links as well! Huzzah! I don’t have to do all of the work myself!Â
Additionally, it would serve to drive traffic to creators’ sites and introduce new players to their content. Hell… I’ve been playing Sims 3 since it came out and there are still “old” creators that I’m just now discovering…
Anyway… apologies for the long-winded post. The idea is only a few days old and I’ve got the basics of the site put together, but I’m still working on refining the concept and putting the pieces in place, and I would WELCOME feedback and suggestions from y’all, and if anyone is interested in helping with the project, please feel free to contact me.
