Imagine if Nine did that, kidnapped Tails that is. I imagine Sonic wouldn't immediately cofnrotn him, but Nine himself would be having all sorts of conflicting feelings

it’s less conflicted feelings and more him thinking that he’s doing a really good job (he’s not) /j

but no i imagine at some point he starts having second thoughts about his whole plan. but he’s too far into it so why stop?

can he even stop?

would sonic ever forgive him? he did kidnap the real tails— sonic’s real best friend— and take his place. how does he even begin to come back from this. sonic will hate him and he’ll have to go back to grim where he’s alone. so he can’t stop.

if it’s between him and tails having to be stranded on the grim, it should be tails. not him.

tails can deal with it, just like nine has had to for his entire life.
