i've seen so much miku content all over social media today and it's actually making me so emotional like. the way fans and producers and artists alike all reference each other..... everything that makes vocaloid special is built from community. a famous producer whose songs you grew up with is likely to have the same feelings about another artist's work. miku's birthday is as much of a celebration of the character as it's a celebration of nostalgia and the fandom's creativity, because miku wouldn't be where she is without us and we're lucky to have her-
