I have hit 7000 words on the 4th draft of chapter 9. I only have two scenes left to go and it will be ready for a final editing!

of all the stories in the stars ours has yet to be told look at me kicking this writing slump in the teeth after this i think we have about five more chapters left to go which is quite a bit but were so close to the end
