The following days Rengoku and yourself came to an agreement to take care of Tomioka by giving him lots of treats and if he was comfortable enough the three of you would cuddle, you even made simmered salmon with daikon and when he saw it he smiled so you vowed to make the dish for him whenever he asked or visited again. You were reading a book on the engawa when you saw Rengoku walk up to you 'Hello Rengoku! It's a lovely morning don't you think?' You asked putting your book aside 'It is a fine morning!' He exclaimed but you could tell he was tense 'Is something wrong Rengoku?' You asked worriedly 'Yes actually! Back in the hot springs, I noticed that your body had been very scarred but I didn't want to say anything since we were comforting Giyuu!' He spoke in a serious tone which shocked you with how series he suddenly got 'Ah. Yes I received heavy abuse from my family growing up before I ran away' you explained and you saw the Flame Hasira visibly tense 'But I'm much better here!' you happily exclaimed 'That's good to hear' Kyojuro said smiling 'Is there anything else you needed?' You asked

'Yes! Myself and Tomioka thought a picnic would be lovely today! If you'll like to join us!' The fiery man exclaimed 'That sounds wonderful!' You cheered, following the Hashira to a cute picnic that was set up under a tree and saw Tomioka sitting under it 'Hello Tomioka! How are you today?' You asked sitting next to the said male 'Better than I have been for a while' he spoke and you swear you saw a hint of a smile both you and Kyojuro beamed at Giyuu and he looked down at his lap, there was already one sun he didn't need two more. Rengoku also sat down with both males siting on either sides of you 'This looks delicious you two!' You exclaimed since both Hashira's wanted to cook while you relaxed 'Yes! It does! I almost burnt the food but Giyuu managed to save it! He's a pretty good cook!' Kyojuro exclaimed with a closed eye smile 'I'm not that good' Giyuu mumbled sipping from his drink shyly 'Nonsense! We would be eating charcoal if you didn't come to help!' Kyojuro boasted.

The three of you began to eat in a comfortable silence with the occasional "Umai!" Coming from Rengoku 'So is there a reason for this picnic?' You asked 'Well today was our last day here! So I thought it would be nice to have a picnic before we left!' Kyojuro proclaimed making you choke on your food while Giyuu rubbed your back 'T-That was today! I must have forgotten I'm so sorry!' You yelled apologizing 'I was going to make gifts for the both of you but I must have forgotten!' You explained clearly distressed that they wouldn't have a gift before they left 'You don't need to give us any gifts L/N! You have been a wonderful host and I am sure Giyuu will agree that spending time with you has been a wonderful time!' Kyojuro exclaimed and his smile was the biggest you've ever seen from him.

Giyuu nodded along with the fire like man with a small smile form on his face, the Water Hashira hadn't felt this comfortable in so long you had been absolutely wonderful you and Rengoku make him feel special and warm in his heart whenever his with you two, but it saddens him he has to leave you, but maybe you two could send each other letters by crow! Kyojuro felt the exact same as Tomioka he had always admired Giyuu and wanted to get closer with him and after talking with Mitsuri he found out that he was actually crushing on the Water Hashira but when he met you and got to know you as well as Giyuu over the week he knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you and Giyuu.

But all good things come to an end as it was time for the two men to leave 'L/N I was wondering if we could exchange letters. I would also like to do the same with you Rengoku' Tomioka spoke getting the attention of the both of you 'I would love to Tomioka!' You exclaimed happily as the three of you agreed to send letters to each other. Once again you were back in the clearing to bid Rengoku and Tomioka goodbye and greet your new guest, but you were a little surprised when you saw a giant of a man and three beautiful woman with him 'Uzui it's great to see you again!' Kyojuro yelled out to his friend 'Ah! Kyojuro you're looking as flamboyant as ever! How have you been!' The two men yelled enthusiastically as you and Tomioka when on the side trying not to become deaf.

The two loud men seemed to be catching up with each other so you decided to greet the other guests, you walked over to the three woman and god they were all really pretty you even felt a bit insecure talking to them 'Um... Hello!' You spoke grabbing the girls attention as they turned to look at you, you steadied your breathing and brought back your usual smile on 'I'm L/N Y/N! I'll be taking care you this week. I hope you three don't mind me saying but you all are very beautiful!' You exclaimed albeit rather shy with reddish cheeks.

The three girls before you felt their hearts clench, you were just too cute for them, the youngest of the three women let out a squeal 'Aahh! L/N you're so cute! Absolutely adorable I could just eat you up!' She yelled out cupping her cheeks as her words made you blush furiously, suddenly the girl next to her slapped her across the head 'Idiot! Don't just yell like a weirdo introduced yourself damn it!' She yelled angrily 'Hey you two need to calm down this isn't a good introduction'

The other girl that had her hair in a high ponytail tried to calm the other two down while the angry girl with blond bangs/fringe and black hair in a ponytail ignored the more calm girl to continue beating the crying girl 'WWAAAHHH! Lord Tengen! Makio is hitting me!' The cowering girl cried out 'You two calm down' the calmer of the three continued to calm the rowdier of the two, you looked over to Rengoku and the man one of the girls called "Lord Tengen" as the two men were having quite a loud conversation, you turned to look at Giyuu as he was awkwardly standing at the side “I’m gonna miss the quiet huh?” You thought

I’ve never felt this much of a need to be in a Poly relationship as much as I do with these two

Random Demon Slayer Headcanons/Thoughts I think of

This has spoilers for the Demon Slayer manga and I will go in detail so I suggest not to read this unless you have read the manga

Shinobu and Giyuu in my opinion are much better as found siblings than as a couple, both of them went through traumatic experiences with their siblings before they were both adults. Out of all the Hashira those two are always seen together, both Shinobu and Giyuu I headcanon as gay and lesbian respectfully (I know I’m so original) I feel like we were robbed of a cool sibling relationship with these two. Plus these two have so many similarities that I just might make a separate post for these two

In addition to lesbian Shinobu I like to think she had a crush on Mitsuri when she first met her, but I think after Shinobu realised how in love Mitsuri was for Iguro, Shinobu would then hide her feelings even more and help Mitsuri with Iguro instead wanting Mitsuri to be happy over her own happiness

Muichiro usually answers with hums or a nod because he doesn’t really know how to respond in a conversation especially if it’s just small talk as he finds them pointless

Muichiro I like to think is AroAce and either demiboy or non binary and would use he/him and they/them pronouns. In the modern setting I think Muichiro would definitely be a gamer as he usually gets lost in his own world so I think if he got into a game he wouldn’t stop thinking about it and always get distracted by new game updates or randomly think of a game character he likes if something reminded him of them

I think we were robbed of a Rengoku and Iguro brother/childhood friends scenes. I like to think these two try and set up a time once a week/month were they catch up and see how the other is doing while hanging out, I think on one of these outings Rengoku invited Mitsuri a lot and that’s how both Mitsuri and Iguro would develop a deeper crush on each other with an oblivious Rengoku in the middle not getting the romance at all

Shinobu in the modern setting gives me big “Little Miss Perfect” vibes. I think she would win a lot of trophies for lots of competitions like fencing, tennis and writing but I think Shinobu would enjoy playing the piano the most

Sanemi I think would talk with Gyomie a lot about Genya asking if his little brother was doing ok or tell Gyomie about things Genya likes and dislikes, as well as try to convince Gyomie that he should quit the demon slayer corps. But I think Gyomie wouldn’t do that and instead try to convince Sanemi to fix his relationship with his brother

Tengen I think would have trauma from his dad and his upbringing and wouldn’t want to have kids thinking he would be a bad influence, though Hinatsuru, Makio and Suma would convince Tengen that he would be a great dad so after 2 years after the demon slayer war they would start trying for a family, I think Makio would get pregnant first then Suma then Hinatsuru I like to think they would have ten children in total with Suma having 4 children, Makio would have 3 and Hinatsuru would have 3

Modern setting Iguro would have a Netflix series about his family

Modern Shinobu would definitely read horror or thriller books while drinking jasmine tea or coffee and sitting by a window at a cafe sitting all pretty

Muichiro is Giyuu’s little brother both of them have quite conversations via eye contact

Rengoku is a terrible cook but is the absolute best at baking, he can make any type of bread or pastry his favourite one to make though are cakes, donuts and Swiss rolls and he lets Mitsuri and Senjirou taste test (High School Rengoku would be a part timer at a bakery the Kamado family owns)

Kanao made a decision she wanted a to grow a plant without flipping her coin and it was a succulent plant that she added to a terrarium she made after that she keeps in a bottle in her room

Modern Mitsuri would be the soft UwU girlfriend type but don’t be fooled by her soft pink sweaters and cute frog/cat stickers, this sweet girl can do all the hard work she can change a tire with no problem she can fix any leaking pipes need help carrying something heavy she’s got it

Modern Sanemi has a pet dog and whenever people find out they think it’s a big scary dog but I think Sanemi would have a either a Toy fox Terrier that is a rescue dog that’s missing a right eye (Mitsuri would crotchet a sweater for the dog)

Modern Iguro and Sanemi have a bros b4 hoes pact the gets broken 50% of the time when they have a boys night bc Mitsuri would booty call Iguro

Modern Mitsuri likes to play the ukulele especially love songs that she thinks would be cute to perform to Iguro, Mitsuri also practices her performance to her cat plush before showing Iguro but sometimes he catches her practice and falls even more in love every time

Modern Giyuu and Muichiro both hate phone calls. Muichiro hates them because he’ll have to remember what the phone call was about instead of having a history of all the things that have been said so it’s easier to remember stuff. Giyuu just doesn’t like talking on the phone or to people in general

Modern Nezuko is a big dinosaur nerd and has many dinosaur encyclopaedias ever since she was 10 and now that she’s 13 she’s visited a dinosaur museum at least 24 times, Nezuko has watched every Jurassic movie in existence at least 5 times in a row

Modern Tanjiro growing up had really bad eye sight and had to have glasses but now he uses contacts

Modern Zenitsu I like to think is actually really smart with school and usually aces all his exams and any surprise quizzes he gets, everyone just assumes his an idiot with the way he throws himself at people, I also think Zenitsu is bisexual and has a big crush on both Nezuko and Tanjiro

Inosuke is ftm transgendered and was fed up with his boobies so he stabbed his tits, a Kakushi then brought him to Shinobu who got rid of his boobs and once he explained he did it on purpose and it wasn’t a demon attack Shinobu then got Inosuke on testosterone

College + Modern AU Uzui would be a music major that works part time at a record label store and is in a punk rock band with Rengoku, Sanemi, Iguro and Kanae, Hinatsuru works at a cafe and is studying to be a marine biologist and hopes to work at a sea life rescue facility, Suma works at a pet adoption center and has a daily struggle to try not to adopt every animal that comes in and is the one that helped Sanemi find his pet, Makio is a freelance photographer that works mainly for add commercials and she is also studying for an arts degree, the four of them live in an apartment together and Makio owns an art studio to work in and to stay at if any of them needs space (I have story ideas for this headcanon already)

Modern Daki and Gyutaro are Tanjiro and Nezuko’s childhood friends Nezuko and Daki would get in a lot of fights but as they got older and went to high school together they became really close, Tanjiro and Gyutaro would already be good friends as Gyutaro would become much protective over Tanjiro and Nezuko and would become the ‘big’ brother out of the four

I feel as though we were robbed of some good storytelling with Hantengu and Nakemi out of all the underrated characters those two are my top tier favs and I wish we got more out of them other than the lower moons and Gyokko we don’t get to see their backstory much we also don’t really see much of them turning into demons with Nakemi being the one with little to no detail on her background I do know her husband was an asshole so she murdered him before a performance and would continue to murder before one for good luck, but she ran into Muzan and was then turned into a demon and I’m pretty sure you only get this info if you look for it, but dammit I love this murderous underrated Queen (I’ll go in depth about my fav underrated characters another time)

Modern Akaza/Hakuji have sensitive teeth and have to drink with a straw especially if he has ice with his drinks or else his teeth will get really irritated and will get a headache from how sensitive they are

Demon Confusion ||| 悪魔の混乱 ||| Various x reader (Chapter 2)

'Excuse me, but could I take that basket and a little straw and bamboo?' Tanjiro had asked a man. It was day time and since you couldn't be in the sun Tanjiro went to get a basket 'We don't mind. But the basket has a hole in it' the man said looking at the boy 'That's alright can I pay you?' Tanjiro asked always so thoughtful and caring 'No need. It's a broken basket' the man said 'Please let me pay' Tanjiro said as nice as he was he was equally stubborn 'No thank you. You can have the other stuff too' the man spoke shaking his head 'But I WANT to pay!' Tanjiro yelled 'WE DON'T WANT IT! What a stubborn kid!' The man yelled 'Just take it! It's only a few coins anyway!' Tanjiro yelled slamming some coins in the mans hand, then he walked towards the needed items 'Thank you very much!' Tanjiro got the items and walked back to were his siblings were.

He arrived at a small cave, looking inside he thought he would see you but you were gone 'Hey, Nezuko were did (Y/N) go?' He asked looking at his sister worried 'Hmm? What do you mean, they should be there?' Nezuko asked kneeling next to her brother and looked inside 'HUH?! Were did they go?!' Nezuko yelled in shock when suddenly your head popped out of a hole they didn't see 'I'm right here' you spoke with an irritated face not entirely because of your siblings, but because of the sun, you used to love the warm rays of the sun, but now you looked at the day as something that can kill you.

After a few minutes Tanjiro had made the basket more durable with no holes, crawling into the cave Nezuko and Tanjiro looked at you '(Y/N), will you fit in here? I want us to travel during the day. I'll carry you' Tanjiro explained showing you the basket. Getting out of your Mole Hole you stepped inside the basket and sat down, but you were definitely too big 'Hmm.....(Y/N) you're as big as an adult can you reverse that, and get smaller?' Tanjiro asked after a few seconds your body began to shrink until you were the size of a child. Both younger siblings were shocked that actually worked 'That's perfect! Good job' Nezuko praised as you gave her and Tanjiro head pats.

Wrapping a cloth around the basket the two humans and demon were on their way again 'To get to Mount Sagiri, you first have to cross that mountain. The sun will set soon. And you're going to carry that huge load? And the both of you look so young it's dangerous' A lady spoke as her child clutched onto her side, both the siblings bowed thankful for her help and concern 'We'll be plenty careful. Thank you very much' the siblings said than began on their way 'People really do disappear up there. So don't get lost!' The woman yelled after the siblings, as they waved goodbye.

The siblings have been walking for a while, earlier on the sun set so you were let out, you held both Tanjiro and Nezuko's hands, until you felt something dangerous nearby. Immediately you stopped confusing the pair '(Y/N), what's wrong?' the both of them asked stopping their movement as well facing you, suddenly Tanjiro knew why you stopped 'T-that's the sent of blood!' Tanjiro yelled running forward pulling you and Nezuko along with him 'Brother calm down!' Nezuko yelled trying to keep up with the pace 'These mountain paths are dangerous. Someone may be injured!' Tanjiro yelled as you three reached the temple.

Tanjiro flung the damaged door open 'Is everyone alright!' Tanjiro yelled in worry but he fell quite with the scene in front of him, while Nezuko let out a gasp. It was a demon feasting on dead humans, at the sight you felt yourself begining to drool 'What?! Hey! This is MY territory! Get away from my feeding ground!' the demon spoke but you didn't care, you only stared at the bodies in hunger which made you DISGUSTED in yourself 'Hmm...? Something's wrong here. Are you three HUMAN?' The demon asked then he suddenly lounged at Tanjiro and punched Nezuko sending her back, quickly thinking Tanjiro grabbed his hatchet and swung at the demons neck 'A hatchet?! HA! HA! HA! Not bad! But a wound like this.....Will heal in no time! See the bleeding already stopped!' The demon spoke as his wound did in fact heal.

The demon lunged at the boy again making sure his hatchet was kicked away 'You'll never do that again! I'm gonna snap your neck' the demon said not noticing a figure run up to him 'Leave my brother alone!' Nezuko yelled picking up the hatchet and jamming it into the demons head 'Ugh! You bitch!' the demon yelled in pain then suddenly brought his hand up, wrapping it around Nezuko's neck and slammed her down on the floor, making the two scream in pain as the demon began to choke them. Hearing the two cry in pain you came to your senses, and ran at the demon and kicked his head off making a dent in a tree from the impact.

Both siblings looked at you shocked trying to catch their breaths '(Y-(Y/N)!' they yelled not noticing the headless body move to attack them, you brought you leg up and kicked it away putting a dent in another tree "I can't believe it! It just moved with it's head ripped off!" Tanjiro and Nezuko thought looking at the body horrified 'Why YOUU! I knew it one of you is a demon! Something didn't seem right! What are a demon and two humans doing together?!' the demon yelled as the body ran at the three you stood in front and connect your hands with the body in a wrestle position 'STOP!' the siblings yelled Tanjiro brought up his hatchet for another attack when he saw something coming at him from the corner of his eyes.

Swinging it to the side the demons head bit on the metal blade and arms appeared were his ears are, grabbing into Tanjiro's shoulders ‘Get off of me!’ Tanjiro yelled then head butted the demon hard making, Tanjiro kept on attacking the threw his hatchet trapping the demon to a tree ‘Nezuko! (Y/n)!’ Tanjiro yelled looking for the two, he saw the two of you, you were in front of Nezuko as she was dangerously close to a cliff while you were trying to keep the demons body away from Nezuko.

The demon kicked you to the side and lunged for Nezuko ‘Knock it off!’ Tanjiro ran at the demon and tackled him sending him over the cliff, Nezuko reached for Tanjiro catching him while also falling over the cliff, running you grabbed Nezuko’s hand before the two could fall to their deaths. Slowly you managed to pull the two to safety, giving them both a hug ‘Be careful’ you spoke calmly and sternly. You three walked back to the demon head Tanjiro brought out a knife staring at the unconscious demon head.

He began te hyperventilate when a hand was placed on his shoulder, Nezuko and Tanjiro looked at the man shocked ‘You can’t kill it with that’ he spoke he had a tengu mask on. The three of you looked at him shocked, you didn’t hear his footsteps ‘H-how can we kill it?’ Nezuko asked ‘Don’t trust what others say. Can’t you two think for yourself?’ The man asked the two looked at each other “If stabbing it won’t work. We’ll have to crush the head” the siblings thought each getting a medium sized rock.

The man looked at the two “These kids won’t do. Their kindness prevents them from making decisive action. When facing a demon. They reek of sympathy and consideration. They even feel sympathy for a demon. Giyuu these two are useless. The demon on the other hand. I can smell extreme power from them they want to help the two but they know they have to do this themselves. If they weren’t turned into a demon they would be a wonderful demon slayer” the man thought of this all looking between the three

You wanted to intervene and do this difficult task for your younger siblings, but you knew you couldn’t always protect them, they both had to get stronger. Looking to your left you noticed the sun coming up you grabbed the basket and cloth, going to the corner were the dead humans were you got smaller sitting in the basket wrapping the cloth over your head. The man had followed you and picked up the bodies to burry them.

Both Nezuko and Tanjiro looked at the now awake demon, they thought about how they should kill it, but didn’t with sympathy and softness still held them back, they felt the warmth of the sun and saw the demons head burn up and turn to ash ‘(Y/N)! Where are you?!’ The both yelled panicked for you, running to the temple they saw you covered and let a sigh of relief out. The two noticed the missing bodies and looked around the building.

They saw the man praying for the deceased ‘Um….excuse me’ Tanjiro said hesitantly as he and Nezuko walked up to the man ‘I am Urokodaki Sakonji. You two must be the ones Giyuu told me about’ Urokodaki introduced himself ‘y….yes I’m Kamado Tanjiro, and this is my little sister Nezuko. The demon is our older sibling (L/N) (Y/N)’ Tanjiro introduced you all ‘Tell me what will you two do when your sibling eats someone?’ He asked with a serious voice they both stared at him, until they both were slapped by the man ‘You think too slow!’ He chided them ‘You two struggle over the simplest decisions. You could never finish off a demon before the morning. Why couldn’t you answer the question immediately? You two are too soft! When your sibling eats someone, there are two things you have to do….first kill your sibling then slit your stomach and die! That is what it means to travel with your sibling who has become a demon! But it is your sacred duty to ensure that never happens. Your sibling must never take the life of an innocent person! Do you understand what I am saying!’ Urokodaki explained ‘Yes!’ Both siblings yelled agreeing to take on this burden.

‘Very well….I will test you both to see if you have what it takes to be a demon slayer. Carry your sibling and follow me’ he told them. Walking back to the temple they saw you sleeping Tanjiro carried the basket while Nezuko wrapped the cloth around the basket securely, and they where off. There was a huge gap between Urokodaki and the Kamado’s “He’s fast! How old is this guy?! And he’s feet don’t make any sound! (Y/N) this will be a rough ride but hang in there. But when suffering is all you’ve ever known’ Tanjiro thought of a memory he had.

You were stitching your kimono it had a tear in it, the fifth one this month ‘(Y/N) are you mending your kimono again? You should buy a new one’ Tanjiro spoke concerned but you just looked up at him with a smile ‘It’s fine Tanjiro I like this kimono! So instead I use the saved up money to buy you and everyone else plenty to eat!’ You spoke sweetly before continuing.

Nezuko also thought of a memory you and her were in a neighbouring town when a guy was making Nezuko uncomfortable so you punched the guy in the face hard and his friends beat you up then left ‘(Y/N)! You shouldn’t have done that!’ Nezuko was very shocked kneeling down next to you, you sat up and she saw your beautiful face was swollen with a bruise ‘I’m fine are you ok?’ You asked with a smile even though it hurt ‘You shouldn’t do that I was fine’ Nezuko felt tears going down her face and you brought her into a hug ‘Of course I had to do that. Your my little sister I’ll always protect you’ you then stood up wobbling a bit then brought Nezuko up ‘Now come on I saw a kimono that you will look beautiful in’ you smiled walking up to the store buying the said kimono, and Nezuko never wore a different kimono after that.

“We will make you human again! And I’ll buy you a new kimono!” Tanjiro thought “(Y/N) even though your the oldest! I’ll get stronger and protect you too!” Nezuko thought as the two continued to run. The both of the Kamado’s were panting hard kneeling on the floor trying to catch their breath ‘S…..so…..di did we…..pass the test?’ Tanjiro asked between breaths. Urokodaki slide the door open and took off the scarf around his head ‘The test is just beginning you two will climb the mountain. Leave your sibling inside and follow me’ he said the two looked at him shocked.

They put you inside the small house laying you down on a futon ‘I promise while you two are away I’ll protect your sibling’ Urokodaki said as the two thanked him. They then began the walk up the mountain it was nighttime already and there was heavy fog on the mountain “I’m already tired. My legs are getting weak….and I feel dizzy. The air is more shallow then the one at home” the both of them thought as they followed Urokodaki, he stopped then turned to the two ‘Now you must descend down the mountain by yourself, get to my house before sunrise and you pass’ Urokodaki said then disappeared.

‘That’s the test?’ Nezuko asked confused ‘oh, I get it he thinks we’ll get lost because of the fog. We just have to get back before sunrise. It should be easy with my sharp nose’ Tanjiro explained then started running down with Nezuko following. Tanjiro almost tripped over a rope but caught himself, he looked around then rocks were thrown at his face making blood come from his mouth ‘Tanjiro!’ Nezuko yelled concerned walking up to her brother, then he fell in a covered pit. He got out slamming his hand on another rope, he quickly stood up looking for the trap as a log hit him in the back, sending him to the floor.

Tanjiro stood up cursing in his head ‘Tanjiro calm down the air is thinner here, we need to get our breathing under control’ Nezuko said putting her hands on his shoulders and looking him in the eyes. Slowly he bagan to breath normally then nodded to his sister and they both continued down the mountain. They avoided some traps but still got hit by some. After some time it was almost sunrise and Urokodaki was getting a bit worried looking out the window.

The front door slide open and there was Tanjiro and Nezuko their clothes were messy with dirt all over them and they had a few cuts on them ‘w-we made it’ they both said falling to the floor from exhaustion ‘Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado I accept you two as my students’ Urokodaki said making the siblings give him a weak smile.

The three of you had gotten into a routine, you would wake up first to make breakfast for the three of you then you would take care of your plants in your greenhouse then you would spend time with the Hashira whether it be you playing some instruments or playing a board game, reading together, giving them a message or just spending time together in general. The week was ending and you noticed both Hashira were feeling down about leaving so you came up with the idea of sending letters together, which is were you are now as your Kasugai Crows were getting to know each other as the Hashira were ready to leave 'I wanted to give you two something before you leave' you said right before the three of you left your cottage 'For you Kocho I have this pouch filled with myrrh it helps with anger so whenever you feel angry just smell this' you explained handing over the pouch it was purple that had a brown string tying it together 'Thank you (L/N)' she smiled and you knew it was a real smile as she took the gift putting it in her pocket 'For you Iguro I made this scarf so you and Kaburamaru can keep warm!' You exclaimed presenting the scarf, it had the same pattern as Iguro's haori 'These are lovely gifts (L/N)' Iguro smiled wrapping it around his neck as Kaburamaru snuggled into it, Winter was about to end so Spring was close by but you wanted to make sure the two were warm. The three of you were walking to were the Kakushi would bring the new Hashira as well as bring Kocho and Iguro back to the Demon Slayer Corps.

The two people you saw was a girl with pink hair and green tips which you thought looked very cute, the man next to her looked very intimidating with scars all over his body with a pissed off expression 'I might need some more myrrh' you commented making Iguro and Kocho snicker grabbing the two other Hashira's attention 'Iguro how have you been!' The girl called out running up to you three and you looked up to her, she looks very cute 'I've been good, (L/N) has been taking care of me and Kocho very well' Iguro said smiling down at you and you smiled back 'Kyaa! Your (L/N)! I've heard so much about you from Iguro! You look so cute!' She said having a small blush as her words made you extremely flustered 'Umm. T-Thank you. Your also really cute!' You stuttered out still recovering and the girl's face also became red while Iguro watched thinking the two of you were absolutely adorable, while the three of you were distracted Kocho was talking with the male 'Shinazugawa you better be nice to (L/N) alright?' Kocho warned with her scary smile even making the said Hashira tense up 'What's so special about them anyway?' Sanemi asked glaring at you he didn't want to admit that you were very cute like Kanroji exclaimed 'They're kind so you should be kind, I was told from Oyakata-sama that they do this because they want to' Shinobu smiled as you talked happily with Iguro and Kanroji while Sanemi just stared.

Soon Kocho and Iguro were off and you were leading Shinazugawa and Kanroji to your home 'Well here we are!' You exclaimed as the two took it in '(L/N) your home is so calming!' Kanroji gasped looking around 'Well I'm glad it feels that way' you said smiling up at her until you heard Shinazugawa 'tsk' 'Is something wrong Shinazugawa? Do you need something?' You asked looking up at the man 'Are we gonna stand outside all day or what?' He asked impatiently 'Right! Sorry' you apologized walking to the front door and unlocking it to let the two Hashira inside, like before you showed the two their rooms and yours, you were going to tell them about your hot springs until it started to rain and there wasn't a roof over the hot springs so instead the three of you were chilling in your comfort room 'So you live here by yourself (L/N)?' Kanroji asked looking at you worried sipping the tea you mode for the three of you 'Yes I do' you said 'Doesn't it get lonely by yourself out here?' She asked 'Well sometimes, it was hard to get used to since my family was so big but it's nice that I can hear my own thoughts here' you smiled thankful you escaped your family 'What is your family like they must be amazing!' Kanroji chirped not knowing your mood soured at the topic 'Well they're like other families I guess. I-I'm going to get some fresh air' you murmured getting up before the two could speak and left to the engawa.

You sat down near the edge of the engawa but far enough not to get yourself wet from the rain, slowly you moved your yukata to show your heavily scarred body as you traced the damaged muscle, hearing foot steps you quickly covered yourself 'It's just me' you heard Shinazugawa say as he sat near you but gave you your space 'Ah, Shinazugawa I didn't mean to leave in such a hurry. I'm acting like a very bad host' you spoke leaning in on yourself to seem small 'You know my dad wasn't the best' Shinazugawa began and you looked up at him curios 'He would beat me and my siblings and was very angry and would make my mum cry, but she was so strong she had a small and weak body but would always defend us and get herself beaten instead' Shinazugawa smiled while talking of his mother and he turned to face you, as you were full on bawling and Sanemi froze you looked just like his mother small and weak, even if he was being mean to you like his father you were still so kind.

'My own father was the same' you commented and removed some of your yukata to show Sanemi your families abuse 'My father would usually smash his alcohol bottles over me and my mother would burn me with her lighter my sisters and Aunt would lock me in the basement sometimes for a few weeks, and my Uncle would touch me...' you trailed off into sobs and Sanemi was frozen you have been hurt so much you are far too good for this world 'I wished that I could be strong like you' you said 'W-What?' Sanemi questioned 'My muscles were hurt too much and gotten damaged too many times that when I tried to fight as a Demon Slayer the pain was unbearable and I blacked out. So instead I offered to help Kagaya by giving his children a place to wind down and relax. I only get visitors once or twice a moth and they only stay for a week so I guess I am lonely like Kanroji said' you rambled as you tried to focus on your breathing 'Is it ok if I hug you?' Sanemi asked and you stared a bit telling he was nervous 'Please do' you whispered desperately and the Wind Hashira who was characterized as being aggressive and threatening, carefully lifted your body in his lap and held you while running his fingers through your hair.

Sanemi at first thought of you as weak and small like his mother but he was remembered that just like his mother you were strong, he tightened his grip on you even though you are strong he needs to protect you no matter what he couldn't protect his mother but he can protect you and he will protect you, usually he would push away the people he loves like Genya but with you he feels like he physically can't do that 'Thank you shinazugawa you are very kind' you thanked giving him a tired smile that the Hashira thought made you even more adorable and his face erupted in flames being reminded how adorable you are 'I-It's no problem' Sanemi muttered growing more embarrassed by the second 'If you want I can leave you seem uncomfortable' you commented looking up at him while he finally looked down at you 'No I'm fine it's just been a while since I've held someone!' Sanemi rushed out 'Would it be ok if we cuddled tonight?' You asked face completely red from your own question as you avoided eye contacted and Sanemi felt as if an arrow was shot through his heart 'S-Sure' Sanemi agreed enjoying the way your face lit up and carried you to your room and Sanemi set out a bigger futon for two, he let you lay down first and nervously got under the blanket and he laid down extremely stiff.

'Shinazugawa is it alright if I try something?' You asked and after the Hashira gave you the okay, you gently moved Sanemi's head to your chest and held his face so gently as you put your own head on top of his 'Your hair is very soft' you commented already falling asleep with Sanemi's body heat warming you up, and the Wind Hashira was shacking softly as to not to disturb you, he then wrapped his arms around your waist and buried himself deeper into your chest, you were warm oh so very warm he could hear your heart beating comfortably lulling the white haired man to sleep.

When Sanemi woke up you were thankfully still asleep as he looked up at your face admiring how calm you looked asleep, thinking of a great idea he got up and went to the kitchen to make you some breakfast, halfway through Kanroji had woken up and after hearing about what Sanemi was planning she was more than happy to help seeing as the Wind Hashira wasn't the best cook. You had woken up to an empty bed and assumed you had just dreamed up the events of last night as you tightened your yukata around you and went to the kitchen to make breakfast, but once you entered the kitchen you were shocked to see Kanroji and Shinazugawa finishing up making pancakes '(L/N)! You shouldn't be here, we were going to surprise you in bed!' Kanroji whined pointing at you accusingly and Sanemi looked a little disappointed you woke up early 'Well this is still a surprise, if you two wanted breakfast you could've woken me up' you spoke letting out a high pitched yawn as the Hashira couldn't believe how cute you are 'That wouldn't work since we wanted to make breakfast for you' Shinazugawa explained putting the finished pancakes on the small dining table ushering you to sit down and eat and you did so 'After our talk last night I've decided that you will be the one relaxing this week' Sanemi stated shocking you 'You don't have to do that Shinazu-' you started but was cut off 'I was also wondering if we could call each other by our first names?' Sanemi asked shyly.

'That's fine with me Sanemi' you said trying out the name on your tongue and Sanemi smiled warmly, while Kanroji was squealing internally at how you two would be so cute together for some reason she felt sad for a second she doesn't know why but then she realized she was falling for you, she was falling so fast and she's already losing you to Sanemi but she hasn't lost yet, with a determined look Kanroji picks you up while Sanemi was washing the dirty dishes and she takes you to the hot springs 'Um. Kanroji aren't I heavy?' You asked but it seemed the girl wasn't struggling at all 'Not at all (L/N) you don't weigh anything to me!' Kanroji exclaimed placing you back on the floor as you entered your hot springs 'You get yourself comfortable and I'll join you!' Kanroji declared walking back to the changing room, and you removed your yukata and folded it neatly near the edge and dipped yourself in the warm pool of water until your head was visible and soon Kanroji had joined you.

'(L/N)! Why are you hiding? You don't have to!' Kanroji shouted out with a pout you giggled at how childish she was acting "Sanemi didn't react too bad when I showed him my scars so maybe Kanroji will be the same!" You thought hopefully then finally revealed your heavily scarred body and Kanroji let out a shocked gasp '(Y/N)! Who could have done this to you?!' She asked gently placing her hands on your shoulders as to not irritate your skin 'My uh..... My family did this. That's why I left so suddenly when you brought them up' you explained with a wobbly smile not knowing that your words stung deep, she was the one that caused you to remember such pain, then she remembered a conversation she had with the Wind Hashira before you entered the kitchen.

'Hey Kanroji!' Sanemi called out to the girl while she was flipping a pancake 'Yes Shinazugawa?' '(L/N) didn't have the best of day yesterday so would you mind helping me make this week about (L/N) instead?' Sanemi asked in a smooth tone 'Really? Of course do you know why yesterday was a bad day?' Kanroji asked worried over you 'Yeah I'm pretty sure the topic of family for them is a bad one so maybe don't bring that up around them ok?' Sanemi asked and Kanroji remembered the day before when you suddenly left after she mentioned your family, of course at the time she was extremely worried that your mood suddenly worsened but she didn't want to pry or make you uncomfortable so instead she let Sanemi see you.

Kanroji was suddenly brought back to the present when you pinched her cheek and the girl engulfed you in a hug 'I'm so sorry if I brought up bad memories I just wanted to get to know you more! But like Shinazugawa said this week is all about you!' Kanroji apologized then got a towel and lifted you up then settled you down on a rock then began to softly rub the wet cloth on your body, while cleaning your body Kanroji would kiss some of your scars some were ticklish which you would try to suppress your giggles but Kanroji would just tickle you more until you were crying for laughing too much 'I just can't believe this could happen' Kanroji said hugging your back and placing her head on your shoulder, while you tried to calm down your laughing fit and a small blush on your face 'You can't believe what could happen?' You asked leaning your head on hers 'That someone could hurt someone as kind and beautiful as you' Kanroji muttered hugging you more tightly while burying her head in your shoulder, at her comment you tensed up then smiled.

You turned your body to face Kanroji and cupped her face 'I don't think it's unbelievable, many people hurt others whether they want to or not, whether they are beautiful ugly kind or mean they'll all get hurt someway or another, you just have to figure out if they meant it or not and decide if you forgive them. I haven't talk with any of my family members since I came to Japan and what they did to me I can never forget and I'm not sure if I'm ready to forgive.... but I'd be willing to try' you stated smiling warmly at Kanroji. Then the front door to the Hot Springs was slammed open and you and Kanroji looked to see Sanemi with a towel wrapped around his waist as he stared at you two 'Ah! Sanemi! Sorry did you want to use the spring?' You asked not noticing Sanemi's face become covered in a blush as he threw a towel at your face 'Cover yourself or stay in the spring!' he yelled and you smiled walking back to the hot springs submerging your body again as Kanroji joined you sitting close but far enough to give you space.

Soon Sanemi joined you two staying close while occasionally glaring at Kanroji 'So what were you two talking about?' Sanemi asked 'Not much really just life stuff' you spoke smiling up to the white haired man 'Didn't seem like it wasn't not much' Sanemi muttered looking directly at Kanroji while he said that 'Well I should probably get out now I was going to go out and collect some flowers in the forest!' you talked happily 'I can come with you!' Sanemi rushed looking up at you as you stood wrapping a towel around your body and grabbing your yukata.

'I'll be fine! The place I'm talking about is still in the Wisteria forest so no demons can get me! Plus I'll be home before sundown!' You exclaimed walking out of the hot to get changed. You grabbed a basket and some scissors to snip the flowers from the stem instead of just breaking them, walking through the wisteria forest was always relaxing in your opinion, you would hear the birds chirping and would sometimes see a deer if you were lucky enough, you sat down and began to pick some flowers for some teas or for decoration until you heard someone cough very heavily, looking up you saw a man bent over a cart on a road, quickly walking over to the man you offered him your water container you brought in case you got thirsty 'Are you ok?' You asked the man 'Yes I'm alright I've just got a bad cough is all' he said 'Let me help you!' You yelled not waiting for an answer as you gripped the carts handle 'Are you sure I don't live that far from here' the man protested worried 'I'm sure lead the way!' You declared and began to follow the man to his home, hopefully this won't take too long and you can get home before any demons show up.

Part Five

The following days Sanemi and Mitsuri were patrolling around your home the two Hashira felt as though they were married to you, you would wake up and make breakfast for the three of you, and sometimes if you weren’t finished the both of them would help you, Kanroji asked you out to get Sakura Mochi and it was an absolute blast for the both of you and Mitsuri even bought (Fav color) socks that matched hers and you’ve been wearing them every day. Sanemi and you made Ohagi that the three of you ate together and you haven’t felt this happy in so long, you were kind of feeling upset about the both of them leaving but the three of you agreed to send letters to each other and you would get to meet new people so that cheered you up, so the three of you had some lunch before you saw the two Hashira off and would invite the next Hashira to your home. The three of you were walking down the familiar path to where you would meet two more Hashira.

Before you even arrived at the spot you heard someone yelling loudly to another person, you could see Kanroji get excited by the voice. When you entered the clearing you saw two people who seemed to be opposites, one resembled a calmly flowing river while the other was a fiercely exited flame 'Kyojuro! How are you?' Kanroji greeted the fire like man running up to him, you looked towards Sanemi and noticed he seemed very angry, you placed your hand gently on his arm making him tense a bit then look down towards you 'Are you ok Sanemi?' You asked filled with concern 'I'm fine just annoyed is all' Sanemi mumbled to you, the two of you then went to join the group 'Ah! Kyojuro this is L/N Y/N aren't they cute?' Kanroji asked introducing you to the other Hashira.

'Yes, they are! I'm Rengoku Kyojuro! It's nice to meet you!' The man yelled obnoxiously loud and you couldn't help but flinch at how loud he was 'Oi! Talk quieter' Sanemi growled at Rengoku and the Flame Hashira's smile seemed to dim due to you flinching 'I'm sorry L/N! I didn't mean to startle you!' Rengoku was still yelling but its volume was noticeably lower, you looked over to the other Hashira who was still unnamed to you. He was looking towards the ground and the air around him felt lonely, you walked up to him and he looked down at you at your approaching footsteps 'I'm L/N Y/N what's your name?' You asked introducing yourself but he stared down at you and you could feel Social Anxiety all over him 'You don't have to answer me, you're here to enjoy yourself and relax!' You explained and you could see and feel the Hashira in front of you calm down a little.

Sanemi and Kanroji were off and you were leading the new Hashira's to your home 'So! Your home is surrounded by Wisteria flowers?' Rengoku exclaimed 'Yes it blooms year-round here like at Fujikasane Mountain' you explained and you could feel the energy of the unnamed Hashira shift to one of self-loathing, you looked towards him he had his eyes downcast with a solemn look on his face 'Oh! My home is just up ahead!' You exclaimed grabbing the two Hashira's attention as they looked forward and you watched as they both stiffened and took in your home. Kyojuro couldn't believe his eyes it was a feeling like he was a child again and he would go inside and see his late mother again.

Giyuu was stunned, the air around your home was the same when he was a child and Tsutako was still alive, or when he was training with Sabito. Your home was so comforting and warm it was reminding the two boys of their fondest memories where they were taken care of and loved for, as before you showed the two their rooms and gave them a spare yukata to wear, but this time you went to your greenhouse to take care of your plants, you went to your room and put on a sombrero vueltiao, a dark blue ruana over a light grey shirt, a pair of black pants and finally your espadrilles.

In your greenhouse, you were growing herbs, vegetables, flowers, succulents, and cacti (they were your favorite) you put on some gardening gloves and got to work, making sure all the plants were taken care of properly until you heard the door open and looked to see Rengoku 'Ah! Hello, Rengoku I'm just taking care of my babies you can stay if you like' you said spritzing a baby succulent with water 'Did you grow all these?' Kyojuro asked in a softer voice than before as he looked all around, you had some hanging from the ceiling, some latching onto the wall and a few growing in the ground and some in a planter pot 'What are these?' He asked and you turned to see him pointing at your potatoes 'Those are my potatoes. I heard from Kanroji that you love sweet potatoes. I don't mind making some for lunch' you said and couldn't help but let out a giggle as Rengoku reminded you of the sun with that big smile of joy he had on his face.

You harvested the potatoes and some galinsoga parviflora, caper, and corn to make for lunch you weren't sure if your other mysterious guest would like what you make but if he doesn't you'll just make something else for him! You went to your kitchen and placed your ingredients on the bench and other things you might need and began to prepare lunch. When you had just finished making the sweat potatoes you felt your silent guest stand next to you, his energy was curious this time 'Hello! I'm just making some Ajiaco for lunch, it's from my home country' you said enthusiastically looking up at the man 'Tomioka Giyuu' he said suddenly confusing you.

'My name is Tomioka Giyuu' he finally said 'It's nice to meet you Tomioka! I'm L/N Y/N!' You happily introduced yourself glade that he was comfortable enough to introduce himself 'Is there anything I can do for you Tomioka?' You asked and silence followed but you still looked up at him 'It's ok, take your time' you said with a patient smile and after a few seconds he spoke up 'C-Could I help you with the food?' He asked shyly avoiding eye contact, at this, you beamed up at him 'Of course, you can!' You said then gave the Hashira a task as you did yours, there was a comfortable silence between you two.

Tomioka felt very relaxed in your presence, he didn't feel extremely awkward to try and talk with you and you wouldn't get angry with him like Sanemi or make him sad by bad-mouthing him like Iguro. The two of you then add the last things then served the food and Rengoku joined you two as soon as he smelt the sweat potatoes, every time Kyojuro would take a bite of the sweet potato he would boisterously yell out an "Umai!" He and Tomioka both tried your Ajiaco and said it was delicious. The three of you were in the comfort room, you were talking with Kyojuro, and Giyuu was listening and joining in time to time, Cherry suddenly flew through an open window and landed in your lap you gave her a cherry as she cawed happily and you gave her soft head pats.

'Tomioka Giyuu! Rengoku Kyojuro! Demons have been staying around Y/N's home! Kagaya asks that you petrol at night! Make sure Y/N is safe!' Cherry ordered to the two Hashira 'Is there anything else you can tell us?' Tokioka asked 'No more information! Ask Y/N!' Cherry screeched out then flew out the window to probably sleep in the sun, the two Hashira then turned to you, and you explained the day a demon almost kidnapped you while mentioning that part you saw the two men visibly tense up 'But in the end, Sanemi and Kanroji saved me' you finished off 'Well that was very brave of them! I'm glad they were able to rescue you!' Rengoku shouted out and Tomioka agreed nodding.

'You two don't have to patrol tonight. I'm sure you two are tired so I'm sure you can rest until tomorrow night!' You exclaimed 'That would be atrocious of us to not help someone in need because of tiredness! I'm sure Tomioka agrees!' Rengoku exclaimed and again Giyuu also agreed 'Well in the meantime while the sun is still up, how about we enjoy the hot springs!' You exclaimed and after the both of them agreed and now you three were relaxing in the hot water 'This is very relaxing L/N!' Rengoku exclaimed crossing his arms and closing his eyes.

You could tell that both of them were pretty relaxed enjoying the heat against their tense muscles 'Did the two of you have a specific reason for joining the Demon Slayer Corps?' You asked them both suddenly getting curious 'Well in my family it is tradition for the oldest child to join the Demon Slayer Corps!' Rengoku explained and you nodded along, you turned to Tomioka encouraging him to talk, but the energy returned to self-loathing 'If it's a hard subject Tomioka you don't have to say' you spoke trying to comfort the quiet male 'No... I-I would like to talk about it to some' Giyuu began. He knew that if he kept on bottling in his feelings they would just overflow and he did want to get all his troubles off his chest.

'I joined the Demon Slayer Corps due to my older sister Tsutako getting eaten by a demon' he said and you could feel his energy unbearably sorrowful but you could also feel a sense of relief 'I'm sure she was an amazing sister' you said which result in Giyuu letting out silent tears, you moved to where he was and embraced him while combing your fingers through his hair, you felt Kyojuro move and hug Tomioka from behind 'I can't imagine how devastating that must of felt. How old were you?' Kyojuro asked his voice was filled with much sadness 'I-I was 13' Giyuu managed to sob out and you and Kyojuro both tightened your hug on the Water Hashira 'She d-died the day before her wedding!' Giyuu cried out shoving his head into your shoulder blade.

His shoulders were trembling with the force of his sobs, both you and Kyojuro held Tomioka as he let out what must have been years worth of tears. After a few more minutes Giyuu calmed down enough as you and Kyojuro stopped the group hug but were close enough to hug the Water Hashira 'I met a boy named Sabito he was amazing! He almost defeated every demon during Finale Selection' Giyuu started and you could see the fondness on his face recalling the memory 'But he was killed. I was injured as soon as the trial started... I don't deserve to be a Hashira I couldn't kill a single demon on that mountain, it would be better if I died instead' Giyuu said that with such confidence he must have thought it was a fact.

'I don't think so' you said kind of annoyed that he would think such a thing 'But-' 'No buts. I can tell that you've worked so hard to become a Hashira. Also saying that you're better off dead is an insult to Tsutako and Sabito's memory. Do you have any other relatives? If not that Tsutako will be forgotten. Sabito might have someone else that will remember him but if you were to die, then all the memories you shared with him will disappear you ranted on and cupped Giyuu's face looking into his eyes 'So don't ever say you wish to die ever again!' You demanded. Giyuu was at a loss you had reminded of that very important conversation he had with Sabito.

Tomioka could feel the tears coming again and latched onto you in a hug again and you returned the hug. Soon enough the three of you had to get out of the hot springs or else you would turn pruny all over, both Hashira were preparing to go out to patrol and you made a bento for the both of them and you sent the both of them off, but not before insisting they can wait until the next night but Rengoku was having none of that. So the Hashira were off to patrol the area around your home, you just hope the both of them will be fine.
