how i feel when im free to talk about the light fury without a little annoying gnat in my ear whining about how useless and overfeminine and sexualized she is

remembering the one time during PE I wanted my friend to step up for a frisbee thing and i nudged her forward with my wings and then realized

1: she didn’t move

2: i don’t have wings

3: how on earth was that supposed to work

i just had to stand there for like 6 seconds marinating in “..did i really just try that”

My Gender is Their Gender

People forget the true definition of xenogender, which is a gender that cannot be described or experienced or fully explained by humans. And while this often leads to hoards, as people try to capture their understanding of their own gender. But for me, it’s been slimming down instead of gaining, turning to one point.

My gender encompasses the gender experience of animals, most specifically, the animals I am as a nonhuman. Parts of my gender are obvious, I wear brown feathers like the mallard, I avoid the mane when I can. But underneath there is this iceberg. The xeno part of my gender that I can only describe as the gender an animal experiences. A gender I in a human body will never fully quantify.

Lets for example, take the bird. Humans like to make it simple, applying their gender norms to them, female takes the eggs, male fucks off. And yet male emus are the most devoted fathers, female cuckoos abandon their clutches for other hens. Okay then, maybe males are big and flashy, and females are brown. And yet, a large majority of bird species are not sexually dimorphic. Femininity and masculinity encompass and share so many aspects that they don’t exist. And the “social construct” aspect of gender is exposed, and the rules break. Human gender means nothing to an animal.

The lioness who hunts for the pack grows a mane, the mallard who cares for the chicks grows in their iridescent colours.

And that, in some way, is me. Femininity, nullness, neutrality, transness, binary. All of it, in all its wonder, and all of it that i cannot handle to think of, is mine. I’m a female animal and that basically just means nothing and I love it. It fulfills everything neutrois and nonbinary is meant to be. I feel so gendered, it’s just in a way that humans don’t understand.

I’m brown like the mallard. It makes me female and yet it just doesn’t. and I have nipples on my belly like a lion and a lioness. None of it means anything and all of it is everything. It makes me want to chirp loudly with joy.

i don’t know what I did to deserve this but the lightfury brainrot is making me actually start to loose it why am i obsessing over a random fictional dragon from a five year old movie instead of something idk. useful??? she’s taking over my dreams and it’s insanity tell me why i saw the top of a white bowl and i was like “OMG OMG IT’S THE LIGHT FURY!!!” SOMEONE SNAP ME OUT OF THIS I NEED TO BE NORMAL ANOUT AT LEAST ONE THING😭😭 THIS STUPID CUTE IDIOT CUTE DRAGONIS TAKING OVER EVERYTHING😭😭

this is exactly what I mean when I defend her.

- She is not a female Night Fury

- She does not need to be "fixed"

- She is a LIGHT FURY, meaning:

It's normal to have fewer nubs

It's normal to be sleek and have fins

It's normal to be sparkly (even males are sparkly!)

- She is NOT a female Night Fury

- She is NOT an albino Night Fury

- Light Furies are NOT Night Furies

- I know the fandom was robbed of Toothless finding a flock of Night Furies. It was hyped up for years, "What happened to the Night Furies?", and then THW let you down. But, it's NOT the Nameless Light Furies fault.

Call me a glazer if u want but the light fury isn’t that bad of a design imo

Like yeah I understand that her concept design worked far better for what she is- a night fury variant but if they just called her something different she’d be far more well received

You cannot look me in my eyes and tell me that a sleek white dragon that hunts in the clouds and fog- the literal personification of you never saw it coming- isn’t a sick ass idea for a dragon??? And the glitter just adds to the idea of her being clouds and mist in a dragons body

But in execution,,,,,,;it was something alright,,,,

Honestly they shoulda named the light fury a Mistdancer and rlly played into that idea of her having to be sleek n perfect because she hunts in a high visibility environment
