Random thought that popped in my brain but the way the most two iconic episodes for Jeff/Abed (Communication Studies and Critical Film Studies) are both movie related episodes where Jeff just fully fkn engages in ?? People get stuck on how Trobed have their dreamatorium (and I obvs love that for them) but like Jeff too AGH !!
It's really interesting to see how Trobed relate to each other in a more neurodivergent way, and so they use a more creative mindspace, but when Abed is with Jeff, Jeff kind of plays the role of the bridge between fiction and reality and so you get more open spaces (ie. him renting an entire diner for the bday party)
That way, both experiences are special and unique on their own, and both are so so cool to explore.
The use of Studies in both titles is also interesting to me, because that's now a space where both Jeff and Abed can learn in. It's just so comforting and safe?? Love me some healthy dynamics.

saw traps ranked on how much i would like to see dennis in them
the politics of human sexuality was such a good episode about jeff's pathological need to feel young and smart by talking to immature young women and how that will ultimately leave him unfulfilled which he himself realises IN the episode and then at the end of the season he kisses annie yes I am still mad about
i picture a sunny episode where charlie starts a janitors strike and its just him at paddys so the rest of the gang gets to act shitty at him which is always funny. that “awww did somebody get addicted to crack” energy
but it snowballs majorly and he gets other janitors to join
the scene i imagine is him giving a speech on behalf of the janitors that like. starts out with normal strike demands the others all agree with and they get into it all cheering. but as he keeps talking they all realize hes insane “and we janitors demand more cheese for our rat traps so we can have enough extra to snack on while we clean them out” “no longer will you feed your scraps to our yuck puddles they simply get too big and we have enough bones to clean up as it is. and besides we believe its more natural for a puddle to hunt on its own anyway” “the janitors of philadelphia will return to work once our bosses stop purposefully aiming badly at the urinals as revenge for kicking them in our sleep the night before or for taking too much of the blankets”
something. then they question hitching their wagon to him and probably somebody else takes over at that point lmaooo but him assuming normal janitors relate to his life. anyway i want charlie kelly 2 unionize the workers of the world and i want it to end with their demands being met especially the weird ones peace on earth. the rest of the gang 100% spend the episode in filth missing him and the work he does classic them
I'm currently rewatching the Rose Tyler era of Doctor Who and all my timepetals feelings are back
Fools fight over who's better between ninerose and tenrose when you can't have one without the other!!
Ninerose was the era of falling in love, it was banter and teasing, and it was mostly focused on the two of them, so it really made it so intimate and special. You see firsthand the impact both had on each other, with Nine's character development. How he doesn't do family but alters the universe to keep Rose's father alive. How he says he doesn't care about idiot Rickey Mickey but he'd invite him on the TARDIS so he can look after her.
You see how they hold each other close to their heart, how they lose themselves in each other's presence. Holding each other's gaze.
Tenrose is an already established love but now with a totally new face, so both of them pulled back a little for the sake of the other. You get such a shyer love, with a lot of physical touch but unfinished sentences. You get promises. Stolen glances.
The way Ten says "and it is gonna be...fantastic" on the first day of his regeneration because he wanted to reassure Rose that nothing much changed.
The way on that same day, she invites him over for a family Christmas dinner, fully accepting him.
The way he asks her on where to go next and gets lost in her expression, still processing the pure joy she has to be traveling with him, that she truly doesn't mind. That he didn't lose her.
And this dynamic works so well because we had ninerose before.
"Just tell her... tell her... oh she knows."
hes the peoples princess. he slays cunt. he cant open a window. he blows kisses and curtsies. i didnt say his name but he popped into ur head didnt he
Dennis shielding Dee whether it's physical harm or a verbal confrontation. And thinking about ada's tag alongside the gifs
They're both of equal threat to him...
Always feel bad when I see someone say something like "I don't have a disability but I have [something that is a disability but society doesn't treat like one]"
Migraines. Food allergies. GERD. Vision problems. Skin problems. For people that menstruate, conditions that cause irregular and painful cycles. Those are all disabling. Anything that impairs you from functioning or completing a basic life task without accommodation is a disability. Anything that makes you spend days in bed during a flare up is a disability! Not everyone experiences your symptoms and you're not being weak or whiny.
Mental illnesses that people treat as "mainstream" these days like anxiety, depression, or ADHD are still disabilities. Overcoming a massive struggle just to get out of bed, slow down your thoughts, or focus on what you need/want to do is disabling. Starting the day with less mental energy than most people is disabling.
For the migraine people: yes, everyone gets headaches, but no not everyone gets migraines. It's a condition that can be inherited in which our nerves are literally wired differently and more sensitive than someone who doesn't get migraines.
For the food allergy and digestive disorder people: if you eat something your body can't tolerate, you become sick. Doesn't matter if it's a trip to the ER or skin irritation for a few hours, that's a negative response in your body. Going hungry at social events because you can't eat anything, that's not something you just have to grin and bear. Prohibitively expensive or hard-to-find accessible food. Most people have the privilege of not worrying about eating.
For people with abnormal menstrual cycles: you don't have to suck it up because "lots of people get periods, no one likes them, but they all deal with it." Majority of people who get periods don't spend days in bed with debilitating pain or nausea. Your heightened struggle is real. Going months between cycles can increase your risk of health conditions down the line, and it's good to speak to a gynecologist if you have access to one.
If you are feeling discomfort on a regular basis in any part of your body, or if you usually feel unwell after eating, that isn't normal and you deserve medical attention and support
