I was trying to explain to my friend why Dennis is a teenage little girl and then I had to get more serious into why I believe his emotional development stopped at 14, so I pull out the quote and uh-
I had totally forgotten the end of that sentence, that couldn't be broken by anything but marriage.
Dennis is expecting fairytale happy ever after to save him from his trauma and break his shell like a lover's true kiss-
Like I rest my case man...
hes the peoples princess. he slays cunt. he cant open a window. he blows kisses and curtsies. i didnt say his name but he popped into ur head didnt he
i picture a sunny episode where charlie starts a janitors strike and its just him at paddys so the rest of the gang gets to act shitty at him which is always funny. that “awww did somebody get addicted to crack” energy
but it snowballs majorly and he gets other janitors to join
the scene i imagine is him giving a speech on behalf of the janitors that like. starts out with normal strike demands the others all agree with and they get into it all cheering. but as he keeps talking they all realize hes insane “and we janitors demand more cheese for our rat traps so we can have enough extra to snack on while we clean them out” “no longer will you feed your scraps to our yuck puddles they simply get too big and we have enough bones to clean up as it is. and besides we believe its more natural for a puddle to hunt on its own anyway” “the janitors of philadelphia will return to work once our bosses stop purposefully aiming badly at the urinals as revenge for kicking them in our sleep the night before or for taking too much of the blankets”
something. then they question hitching their wagon to him and probably somebody else takes over at that point lmaooo but him assuming normal janitors relate to his life. anyway i want charlie kelly 2 unionize the workers of the world and i want it to end with their demands being met especially the weird ones peace on earth. the rest of the gang 100% spend the episode in filth missing him and the work he does classic them
glenn + the crashtones.

(returns from the dead with another poll)
Dennis Takes a Mental Health Day had the most mixed reaction of any season 16 episode (except maybe FVR--let me know if a poll about that would be something you'd be interested in!) so I got curious; do people like and dislike the episode for the same reasons? Does what you ship and how much you like Dennis affect your opinion, or are there other factors? I wanna know!
The poll isn't too long--unless you decide to write a dissertation about the episode, it shouldn't take more than a few minutes to fill out. But I mean, if you want to write a dissertation on how bad/good it is I'm all ears
3 middle aged men with similar fears and anxieties spending the night together feeling less alone
Okay I've warmed up to the s2 finale even without the almond coffee theory. If you asked me "do you want to fall in love with the enemy or work with God and do good in the world" I'd answer the same.
Aziraphale wanted so badly to have his cake and eat it too. To have what he has with Crowley but in Heaven, without all the second guessing and doubting. A "nicer" turn of events.
Because this is what finally convinced Aziraphale to take the offer. He was still asking The Metatron about having coffee before the mention of Crowley back to Angel status, and he immediately asks him what would happen to his bookshop after Crowley refuses to join him. Because without Crowley there, Heaven isn't all that worth it alone.
And then he immediately regrets that thought and goes "nothing at all". How could Heaven not be worth everything?
Good Omens s2 spoilers
Did the almond theory reach tumblr yet?
I'm believing this with my entire soul, there was too much emphasis on the drink order, there was a music switch when The Metatron walks away with Aziraphale and looks at Crowley, there was manipulation felt for the entire interaction.
With the almond syrup restoring Aziraphale's purity, it would explain why he's so adamant for his friend to end up in Heaven again, an establishment he knows Crowley despises. It would explain why he's willing to give up his bookstore and human delicacies because "nothing lasts forever" while we all know how much he treasures his books and materialistic joys. It would perfectly tie back to the flashback introducing us to Aziraphale's gluttony. It would explain why he forgives Crowley for the kiss, forgives him for not seeing the Greater Good of helping people with Heaven and for preferring such human acts.
charmac boybestfriends hanging out in abandoned skateparks and after hours bike rides, idiot4idiot. macden is what if we played a really intense game of gay chicken but like with feelings puppy boy in love with cat boy. charden is looking at a distorted reflection of yourself so you decide to be kind for once like they should’ve been to you. It’s knowing how touch is the most powerful weapon. It’s librarians and uncles and no that didn’t happen, it didn’t, you don’t know what you’re talking about. It’s feeling too much so you explode or dull it down with crack and glue. It’s two cats trying to escape a storm by holding each other, claws buried in each others backs. it’s letting go and leaving the wounds behind and they scar but never really heal. time passes and the pain is so routine you forget about it then you see each other and now your back is wet and you’re standing in blood.
this scene where dennis casually refers to dee as his friend stuck with me because i initially thought it was hilarious that he friendzoned his actual twin sister but then i became obsessed because. they’re literally friends 😭😭😭😭 they WILL leave each other’s asses the moment trouble strikes and they’re each other’s #1 target of bullying BUT THEY WILL ALWAYS COME BACK TO EACH OTHER. their bond is thicker than circumstance. they devoured their triplet in the womb. their team-ups are ruthless and destructive to those around them. and on top of it all they’re friends!! they're dance partners. they scheme to exploit welfare & get addicted to crack together. they instinctively reach for each other when they’re scared. “deandra's gonna side with dennis—that's a given.” the chardee macdennis game teams naturally pair dennis & dee. in dennis's ideal universe dee doesn't have the forehead injury she got from falling on the ground. dennis shields her when a food fight erupts during thanksgiving dinner. dee gives dennis a soft smile underwater even though she'd just said "whatever" in response to his "i love you, sis" right before they think they're going to die drowning. do you See. do you Understand. twins by chance, friends by CHOICE 💪🔥 their toxic codependent sibling slay...

Mac and Dennis Break Up | Now and Then
I inter-clipped the reenactment from The Always Sunny Podcast with the actual scene. You can watch the full thing on Youtube
Okay so apparently my experiences are not universal
Pls reblog I wanna know if remembering your first fanfic is common or not
"Yeh man...wtv u say...dude"
"Yeh man, if u- if u say so"
He's soooo Kendall Roy
So what if Mac was acting so strange with his Uncle Donald because he's terrified of ending up like him, alone, castrated from the family, and no legacy to pass down. Because now he met Johnny. And he's getting somewhere towards a stable relationship and stable sense of identity. He's pointing out Dennis' homophobic jokes and talking about passing stuff down to his kids. He will not end up like Uncle Donald.
They would be fucking insane in something together
one of my favorite things is how hard Glenn always laughs, with his full body and volume out of control, and in my mind it ties really well with how Dennis feels things so much deeper than others. It's nice to think that laughter is also smth that would be amplified for him and not just angst, u know?
i need kendall and dennis in a room together with cocaine for a pathetic loser off
what’s crazy about dennis is that so many viewers probably relate to him but in ways that have nothing to do with each other
The authors of my Psychological Science textbook are sunny fans AND MACDEN SHIPPERS???
do you guys feel shiv's total trust in tom, but manifesting not as love but in how she picked him over nate because nate broke when she tried playing with him but she said that line to tom with absolute certainty that he's better, that he's stronger than that
people will be quick to say shiv underestimates tom and while that's true for his business experience, she overestimates his toughness as seen by her frequent pleas of "i need you"
to shiv, tom is her rock, tom is the guy she met when she was at the lowest point in her life, tom is strong and he can take being played with and she can "build a home thinking she's strong there" but she also undermines the implications of how a marriage is a teamwork and so nothing important can be build if she doesn't put in her own share of the work
The way they cling to each other !!!! TT I want what they have so badly
thinking about mac again. thinking about ‘this is about families getting back together and raising little boys so they could be happy again’ and how all mac wants is stability. thinking about ‘my guess is that you’ve been confused for a very long time’ and how he couldn’t even come up with a retort because, it’s true, he had been confused, but up until that point he probably didn’t even know what was confusing him. thinking about how he was neglected by his parents and then the catholic church instilling the belief in mac of ‘the original sin of being born’, and how, in his mind, the logical conclusion was to give up every part of himself for everyone else so that he could finally earn redemption for sins he hadn’t even committed.
thinking about him realising in the arbitration office that his friends actually genuinely didn’t care whether he was gay or not. how, for the first time, he realised he had unconditional acceptance.
thinking about how the gang may not be functional, but at least they are stable.
THE TRIANGLE IS COMPLETE !!!!
The Jeff Winger / Dennis Reynolds / Gob Bluth character type is real and they're all best friends !!!

Thank you to all the editors that made this happen, this is incredibly satisfying to me (now when are we adding Roman Roy to the list)
Before anyone asks, the list in question consists of silly queer-coded alcoholics with BPD who have a weird relationship with money, a weird relationship with sex, and a really weird relationship with their dad.
