thinking about how Kai has always been a shell of a person and has never had time to understand who he really is because he’s always trying to help other people and be Needed because he’s only ever a reaction to what other people Think he is or what they Want him to be. Id like to think Kai and Wu are both the shortest members of the team and kinda have a dynamic similar to Edward and Pinako from FMA - that is, constantly mocking each other for being short despite being short themselves
