Their first couples costume is (predictably) the Inspector and Thoraxis. It fits perfectly with Abed’s hyperfixation and Jeff’s need to be shirtless as often as possible. 

Jeff is so convincing as Thoraxis that leaked video footage of them making out causes a not so small scandal in England. Nigel Cuthbertson has to give an interview on the BBC showing that he has his wife were on vacation in the Maldives and not anywhere near Greendale, CO

Abed knows that Jeff is a huge nerd after he crashed in the dorms that time, but he doesn’t know how huge a nerd until he spends the night for the first time. He finds Jeff’s stash of ultra-rare Marvel comics and gets so excited he may be physically vibrating 

Jeff has an amazing comic hook up, and spends way more money buying Abed rare favorites than he would ever admit

Side note: Jeff is so excited about playing Hot Lava because he wants that fucking comic; not for the $50k, but because it’s actually missing from his collection 

One time they’re holding hands at the mall when Jeff gets tackle-hugged out of nowhere by Willy Jr. Jeff nearly has a complete and total panic attack when Willy zones in on their hands, but rather than parroting the William Winger homophobia Jeff has been fearing for years, his little brother loudly exclaims “SEE I TOLD DAD REAL MEN HOLD HANDS.” 

 This is how Jeff gets stuck spending the rest of the day holding hands with his little brother at the mall while Abed takes pictures and spams the group chat with them

One time Abed forgets his stim toys, and his tapping on the table is making Annie look homicidal. Jeff texts him asking him to info dumb the entire plot of Kickpuncher: Detroit via text. The movement of his thumbs across the keys and the focusing on on a truly shitty movie helps keep Abed grounded

Jeff doesn’t speak to Britta for a week after he learns Troy and Abed know about his more embarrassing kinks

After Abed and Jeff start dating, Jeff ends up buying Britta a bottle of really nice vodka. Turns out Abed really took the nickname “Nipple Play Winger” to heart

Jeff depends on his coffee every morning to fully wake up, and without it he gets really grumpy and annoyed. Abed doesn't drink coffee at all because he hates the taste. Abed starts buying Jeff's favorite brand of coffee and replacing it every time it starts to get low. It takes almost a year for Jeff to realize what's going on, and when he asks Abed about it he says, "I just like it when you're happy in the morning."

Abed is really self-conscious about stimming in public. He always tries to hide what he's doing and Jeff can tell it stresses him out a little. Jeff starts buying stim toys and carrying them in his bag. When he senses Abed getting uncomfortable he hands one to Abed and takes another one out for himself to play with, so Abed doesn't feel like he's drawing attention.

Jeff secretly loves Hallmark Christmas movies and makes Abed watch them year round. Abed only will watch them if he's allowed to give a running commentary of everything wrong with each movie, and Jeff agrees. At actual Christmas time, one of Abed's gifts to Jeff is staying quiet while they watch the movies.

the politics of human sexuality was such a good episode about jeff's pathological need to feel young and smart by talking to immature young women and how that will ultimately leave him unfulfilled which he himself realises IN the episode and then at the end of the season he kisses annie yes I am still mad about

I wanna add how Jeff in s5 just ? suddenly sucks at law ?? Like 😭 the amount of times Jeff joked about it and dismissed his knowledge saying "i teach law at Greendale idk anything about it." This is the man who fooled the entire system for 7 years with no education?! The man who kicked out the Glee club with a cease and desist just for fun cuz he hated their songs?? Jeff practiced law for fun, it came so easily to him. Yeh it was mostly bullshit and 9/11 references, but I doubt that alone led him to be one of the most respected lawyers. They were so adamant on getting him back on the job, they doubled his pay and already had his office ready. It makes me so mad that they turned his law carrier and skills into a joke just to completely separate this "new Jeff" from his shark past. It was so unnecessary.

Also we're never given any reason why his law firm failed. Am I supposed to believe it's just because Abed refused to add Jeff's phone number in the promotional video. And Jeff just?? accepted that fate?? Huh...

to this day i wish that jeff winger had become a defence lawyer at the end of community. like sure. greendale means a lot to him and its cool that he’s a teacher. but he was an excellent lawyer and he clearly loved it! the entire reasoning behind him not going back was that he grew as a person and didn’t want to be a shark anymore. and him being a pro bono small community lawyer that helps people was what he wanted!!! it just didn’t pay the bills!!! i literally see no reason at all for him not to go and become a defence lawyer or a prosecutor or work for a firm that specialises in community or non-corporate cases. like there are so many types of lawyer. so many. corporate, starving or teacher were not his only options here

Voici mon premier essaie de montage sur Final Cut Pro. J’essayais les différentes fonctions offertes. 

Critère D

Point fort Je crois que mon point fort est mes photos. Ma publicité est assez originale et j'ai réussis à concorder 3 photos pour mon article (rue bloquée, photo de prison, cellule). J’ai dû rallonger ma queue de cheval pour qu’elle prenne plus de place (puisque c'est l'élément centrale) et je crois bien avoir réussis à ne laisser aucune trace de coupure. J’ai retravaillé la photo de prison de mon article puisque la fille dans la cellule était rousse et que Marwa est brune. Point faible Mon point faible est mon organisation et mon agencement de couleurs. Comme Jessica, j’ai essayé de remplir le plus possible mon article de détails et de formes, pour ressembler aux articles de potins, mais j'ai moins réussis qu’elle à atteindre leur niveau extrémiste. De plus, mes couleurs sont belles entre elles, mais ne concorde pas vraiment avec les couleurs principales du magazine (rose et noir). De plus, j'aurai peut-être du travailler avec Yulong et choisir des couleurs qui s'agencent bien avec sa publicité rose (placée à droite de mon article). Évaluation de Marwa Les couleurs sont bien agancées entre elles et marchent parfaitement avec la page de couverture. Le slogan de la publicité est original et le fond fait ressortir le tout. La page d'horoscopes est bien réussis et donne l'aspect mystérieux et astrologique recherché. Le sommaire est simple et aurait pu être plus détaillé mais les couleurs restent belles. Compétences apprises J'ai appris à utiliser Photoshop et éditer des photos avec l'outil dessin. Jai également appris à prendre des photos selon certaines techniques (verticales, règle de 3 points) et a les organisées de sorte à ce que l'oeil suive le texte (ce que j'ai essayer de faire dans ma publicité). Ces techniques m’aideraient dans divers projets artistiques et amélioreraient ma passion pour le tournage. Je jouerai avec l'organisation pour guider les yeux des lecteurs et les emmener vers le message que je veux. J’esseyerai de prédire leurs réactions et travailleraient en conséquence.

Ma publicité double page

Pour une chevelure choquante et croquante :)

Je me suis inspiré d’une vidéo de Jenna Marbles qui mettait du hairspray sur ces cheveux pour réussir à grandir. Ainsi, lors des croquis du magazine, je savais déjà dans quelle position je devrais être. J’ai mis plusieurs élastiques sur mes cheveux et je les ai recouvert avec le reste de mes cheveux. Lorsque j’ai voulu faire la publicité à double page, j’ai réalisé que mes cheveux ne ressortaient pas assez. Alors j’ai sectionné une partie de mes cheveux et je l’ai coller en haut. Le défi majeur était de cacher la coupure et de travailler avec les dimensions pour une seule moitié. Je devais trouvé le centre exact pour ne pas tout décaler lors de l’impression. Finalement, mes doigts étaient coupés dans la photo. J’ai du les redessiner le plus naturellement possible. En conclusion, je suis assez fière du résultat final et ne n’ai pas eu d’énormes surprises puisque j’avais une bonne idée dès le début du déroulement. Il n’y a pas vraiment de changement entre le final et le croquis. 

Mon article malade qui vous surprendra tous

J’ai commencé par prendre la photo de Marwa et choisir les autres petites photos. Dans le croquis, je voulais une photo d’elle avant d’être arrêté. Donc, elle serait contente et serait debout, avec pleins d’accessoires. Finalement, le temps a manqué et j’ai réalisé qu’une photo de prison avec le carton fonctionnerait mieux avec les plus petites. Alors, la disposition des photos à complètement changer. Sinon, le reste est resté pareil. Les 3 cercles de couleurs étaient un détail ajouté à la dernière minute puisque je trouvais que mon article manquait de couleur et de détails, quelque chose de nécessaire dans un magazine de potins. Finalement, j’ai eu un problème avec le texte. Je ne sais pas si c’est à cause de mon inexpérience avec Photoshop, mais le texte rentrait en-dessous des images. J’ai du alors manuellement faire passer les mots à la prochaine ligne pour ne pas être caché. Alors, le texte n’est pas justifié, mais je ne crois pas que ça pause un grand problème. Ça donne l’aspect désorganisé que je cherche à avoir. Dernier changement, j’ai enlevé le sous-titre de mon article car je manquais de place. J’ai signé mon nom à la place.
